Some good news is that Witts will ruck alongside Grundy, lock in Sandi for the big VC.

Witts is actually a better option than Grundy and White against Sandi, Hannath also has me worried about sanditoe as VC

Got the Carslbergs in the freezer and one in hand. :thumbsu: :rainbow:

Hoping being under the influence gives me some clairvoyance into finalising my team.

Can't get anymore bizarre since Higgins is already in there and that was when I was sober.

Pure F****n SC Gold

I look under Coaches % and want to be like Judd_Magic comes up at 99%

I'm on the Asahi''s tonite, hoping my miracle thoughts (aka crazy as f a a r k ) disappear

yep, I think I'll give the VC to GAJ now

AKA best ever, best there was, best there will be

I'll drink to that. :thumbsu:

In two minds at the moment with either going 5 premo midfield but D4-D6 will be rookies or a 3 premo midfield (Ablett, Watson, Beams) but with Minson as R1, Simpson at D4 and Higgins at F6.

Really thinking about the 3 premos mid setup to be honest as I get to grab Aish and M.Crouch.

Will then have all the best mid rookies then and should be able to generate cash quickly up to the byes.

I'm finding that even going 5 mid premos one of my lines is going to suffer.

It will most likely be the backline but then again I've never really cared about the backline in the past and its worked out ok. :thumbsu:

Agree, unless you stack your fwds/backs with a few mid-pricers and not too many premiums.

Yeah but then that requires more trades during upgrade time.

By going a 3 mid premo strategy I figure I will only need 8 upgrades.

2 upgrades up back, 5 in the mids and 2 up forward.

You need to nail your premiums in your backs and forwards and your rookies in the mids need to be spot on. Who are your bench rookies in the mids in this setup? Currently have Dunstan/Crouch myself.

Which two would you take out of Roughead, NRoo and Wingard?

Also do you think you could give me a short explanation for the two you choose? ;)

Probably Roughead and Wingard.

St.Kilda will really struggle this season and as good as Riewoldt is, his team around him is pretty bare so I don't think he'll be getting the forward service he has in the past. He's a workhorse and can get a lot of the ball well outside of forward 50 but I reckon his scoring will be impacted by how poor his side is. Also the most expensive of the lot.

More of an explanation on the one I didnt choose really :)

Just out of interest, did you dump buddy?

Thanks for the reply mate, much appreciated! :thumbsu:

Yeah kinda tend to agree with you re: NRoo. Maybe he will be a better upgrade target once Steven comes back? o_O

3 premo mid team doesn't have Franklin but 5 premo midifeld team does have him.

How do you honestly see Buddy going scoring wise?

Such an unknown quantity with me and he does have an injury history now to boot.

To be honest his preseason has scared me a bit, he didnt look fit during that eagles game although apparently his first half against brisbane in their practice game was good. I think he is too good a player to not take a punt on for that price though but can understand those who dont.

I think the 3/0/7 midfield is going to be a bit on the outer, can see most going with 4/0/6 so that in itself will be a pod for you.

LOL!

Yeah last nights conversation had me thinking alot about the 3 premo midfield setup.

It definitely has its merits that's for sure.

One thing that I have discovered out of all the different formations is that I am now not comfortable with anyone else but Higgins at F6.

Yeah his pre season has been ordinary to say the least.

I'm kinda thinking it may even take him a few more weeks to get to full fitness so his price could drop a bit.

I'm 50/50 on Buddy, don't know which side of the fence to climb over. o_O
