LOL!

Yeah last nights conversation had me thinking alot about the 3 premo midfield setup.

It definitely has its merits that's for sure.

One thing that I have discovered out of all the different formations is that I am now not comfortable with anyone else but Higgins at F6.

Yeah I know the Higgins at F6 isn't what I would call a comfortable decision that's for sure . I think for the price though he is the clear cut choice given he will gain you quality points while at the same time grabbing you quality cash. Provided he can stay out on the park!

To be honest his preseason has scared me a bit, he didnt look fit during that eagles game although apparently his first half against brisbane in their practice game was good. I think he is too good a player to not take a punt on for that price though but can understand those who dont.

I think the 3/0/7 midfield is going to be a bit on the outer, can see most going with 4/0/6 so that in itself will be a pod for you.

Honestly think he will take about a month to find his feet and really get into the swing of things. He is a quality player but we have seen in recent times it has been very up or down, very little middle ground, think he will go down to start then make his way back up. He is one of these selections that you can understand either way if you do or don't decide to start him.

but am tepmted to buk the norm and go 6 / 0/ 4

grab points early and hope rookies blow up

even this year with genuine mids available in def and fwd? danger smitch and McVeigh?

I'm at 316 ATM. I'm sold on the 3 premo mid. I Could go Daisy to Aish, then Caddy to any forward around the 500K mark to make it 307 and would be quite happy. Not sure which I prefer though.

Nice. That's a trade you could make before price changes if one of em doesn't pan out to your liking.

If so I'm thinking of playing funny buggers, apart from my players playing this weekend I'm thinking of changing every other player so my friends don't see my full list until next weekend when I will change them all back.

Not the only one on this train. Currently im still trying to find another 20k or so to go 307. Setup at the moment is actually 217
One way for me to get the 307 is to downgrade Ablett to Watson or similar

So where are you finding all the defensive and forward rookies you would need with that set up, given you don't rate mid-pricers?

Sadly not - reckon at least 4 times a player picked on the field on a thursday / friday was the sub come sat/sun
