Life's toughI wish I had loophole options. Everyone’s playing.
Field Spargo IMO.
Haha yeh. It's just his blind disking for Bron which is so frustrating. He'll drop 45 15 and 9 and Skip will be like 'he only hit 8/12 free throws. He isn't clutch.'Nah he’s conceded he’s top 9th a year ago (still a joke). He’ll concede top 2 if he wins another championship
This is what I had Jisk but now all the regulars are buying into the Higgins hype. Depends if Tigers rip us a new one or not.Ronke and Fritsch
Jacobs to fyfe tomorrow surely?
If Harry Taylor is out, how does Henry score?
Would have thought Neale would be the better match up for him....
I was a DT'er growing up. Crossed over to SC a few years ago and initially hated the scoring system. It grew on me and I started to like it and felt it was better than DT's system. Now I'm going backwards. The obsession with cp is a joke. Someone like Bradley Hill who carves up a wing with run and carry consistently gets outscored by scrappy inside mids who shovel handballs 1m.I don't have a major problem with the theory behind CDs system, though it can be frustrating in a close game when a player with 35 possessions to 3/4 time score stands still or even goes backwards in the 4th term even when playing well.
What does annoy is the (very difficult to control) human bias inherent in applying the scoring system. As you point out it is subjective but that doesn't stop people getting frustrated. Effective v Ineffective, tackle v no tackle, what happens when a receiver fumbles an easy pass - there are shades of grey and some players (generally the famous ones) benefit. Last night Treloar took the ball out of congestion and kicked inside 50 to a leading Reid... who fell over before getting near the ball like he got shot by a sniper. 1 point for Treloar. I bet Danger or this months poster boy Macrae would have got at least 5. Not to mention Reid (who should get docked points but wasn't because he was such a spud he didn't even get within touching distance of the footy).
It would be interesting to do a controlled experiment. Train a few smart o/s backpackers with no exposure to footy in how to score a game using tapes of 2nd tier games. Then get them to score a tape of a real AFL match with no crowd noises and commentary. 100% certain Patrick Dangerfields average would drop by at least 10 points.
Jack Higgins that is.Higgins and Higgins.
Maybe Higgins too.
Cheers!Good point.
I’d field ZGL then.
Has shown he can score well and score fast but hampered last few weeks after coming back from injury
My biggest fear. Please go to fyfe.
+1Ronke and Fritsch
No loophole option.No loophole option?
It’s a secret formula that takes in to account previous history against the team and history at the ground as well. How does Projected work? Is it the same as below, The projected is based off the persons prior score that round in relation to BE ?
You can’t project a score that’s in the pastHow does BE work? Is it based off the Projected score over the last 3 prior weeks it changes?
Trade Henry or Finlay first? Both on the bench
Higgins and FritschPick 2 out of Higgins, Ronke, Fritsch and Guelfi
Fyfe's strength is in the air though ......Jacobs IMO better suited to players who hunt the ground ball ?Jacobs to fyfe tomorrow surely?
Has Higgins reintroduced the term "snag" back into the modern football vernacular ?.....heard a commentator last week refer to a snag goal122/1.
Tigers to have a good win, Dusty 6 goals, 30+ possies, 300 SC points. Snags Higgins with a bag too. Sorry St Kilda folks .
