Whats peoples thoughts on Hogan?
I am bringing him in, 310k at best he ends up a nice F6 POD at worst he makes some cash. The risk reward is worh it for me if he bangs out a couple of 100+ in the next two weeks will be huge in moving up the ranks.

Powell > Heeney
Bergman > Hogan

Have gone:

As always this will probably change by later in the week - or an hour from now.

I probably would have gone Campbell to Heeney but didn't have enough cash after bringing in Guthrie - expensive bastard.

Team now looks like:
3 proper rookies on the field?

367k in the bank and 17 trades.

Thinking at this stage Warner & Powell out which leaves 1,064,000.

Forward options - Heeney, Hall, Hind
Mid options - Lyons, Jelly, Steele, Boak, Brayshaw

ie Lyons & Heeney still leaves 92k
Jelly & Heeney leaves 180k which could be handy to have sitting for the byes

Means I will have 4 rookies on field - Dev Rob, Jordon who are good solid options, RCD who should get a decent run and then one of Poulter/Scott/Berry. Hopefully Flynn gets a couple more games and edges close to 400k.

Alternatively could skip Heeney and do this:

Any other suggestions?

Only other option is back in Powell to get close to his B/E and trade Scott/Robbo instead. Not sure, its a risk if Powell has another bad game.

Thoughts on this trade? Leaves me with 201.8k left in the bank and 15 trades left.
Only main concern is the forward line at the moment, regret not going Warner to Hind last week. But plan is probably to the hold tight for a couple weeks and cull off the rookies slowly over the bye rounds.

I wouldn't back in Powell from what I saw. Less so about his ability but more so role. Dumont coming in kind of sealed his fate. 64% TOG and barely any CBA's from what I saw.

There's too many mids at North that are demanding mid time in front of Powell now.

Yeah right. I didn't watch the game so wasn't 100% sure why he struggled. Maybe I should keep Warner another week instead of Powell?

Taranto v Jelly v Boak

I've crossed Taranto off the list

Jelly and Boak is going to do my head in all week

Jelly:
-9th best 3-rd-avg with 124 ✅
-Has averaged 114+ for the last 4 years ✅
-Only 26 years old ✅
-Has missed 1/4 to 1/2 of the season for the last 4 years :crossmark:
-Only averaging 102 :crossmark:
-Could be stuck playing as a half forward :crossmark:

Boak:
-14th best average with 113 ✅
-Only missed 1 game or played them all for the last 9 seasons ✅
-High floor of about 80-85 points ✅
-Will be 33 years old soon :crossmark:
-Missed a game with a minor quad injury a couple of weeks ago (aka old man injuries) :crossmark:

I would definitely keep Warner over Powell.
