Quoting myself after thinking about some options (Both warner & Powell traded in all scenarios). Haven't really considered defenders but could bring in a Doc/Mills and pushing Laird into mids.

A) Lyons & Heeney (92k left)

B) Bont & Heeney (95k)

C) Guthrie & Heeney (105k)

D) Kelly & Brayshaw (9k)

E) Steele & Hall/Hind (40k)

F) Boak & Hall/Hind (62k)

G) Petracca & Bryshaw (20k)

Or skimp out and save some money and go Steele and Heeney leaving 153k

Essentially it comes down to either
high priced mid premo & Heeney
OR
fallen mid premo & Heeney & change
OR
fallen mid premo & speculative premo keeper (hind/Hall)

Which is the better combo? (I will need to look at how it affects my bye situation)

I like E with Hind option the best of those. Then A/B/C depending on personal choice and bye structure.

Depends on what you plan to do with money saved from not going Zorko.

Zorko is not worth exhausting all your bank for, save that for getting uber Mids in. I would go Heeney for 170k less and take the risk and bank some money for bye round flexibility. Zorko is liable to miss games this year as well.

Early thoughts either going Powell and Bergman to Lachlan Jones (if he's named) and Zorko, leaves me 400k next week to upgrade. Other option is powell to lyons/Guthrie then wait to see if Jones is named.

You already have a complete defence & Highmore & Murphy on the bench, you're set there. It's ok to let LJones go through to the keeper and not weaken that positional line by putting a rookie back on-field.

Forget about Cripps and McGrath until their Rd13 bye, sideways them to two Rd12 bye studs then. I don't understand how they're even a priority at this point whilst you still have ZWilliams, Butts, DevRob and Fathead Rowe on-field.
