Thought I share one of many supercoach addict story problem.

*Driving home from dinner on a Saturday night.

Me "Oi darl can you go on fanfooty and tell me the supercoach scores"

Her "What do I read?"

Me "Just tell me the top 5 players on each team"

Her *reads non supercoach relevant players*

Me "Oh my god, just read every player and tell me their points"

You're doing it wrong... get her to drive.

Won't bother until teams come out on Thursday and everything is decided on whether Flynn plays or not.

Probably just go Warner > Peeney at this point.

Even that trade doesn't excite me as Peeney has a little Peen and can't be trusted.

Nobody else ready to cull or bring in from a rookie perspective.

So one goal, five contested possies and one tackle while having nine more clangers and worse disposal equates to +24 score?

Yeah i bought in Hall myself :)

Sadly the scoring is a bit of a black box, no one really knows. You also have to consider R50/I50, long effective kicks, so many other things as well, all a bit of a mystery.

Effective long kicks is why Bont does so well, yet people complain about KOTD

I wouldn't back in Powell from what I saw. Less so about his ability but more so role. Dumont coming in kind of sealed his fate. 64% TOG and barely any CBA's from what I saw.

There's too many mids at North that are demanding mid time in front of Powell now.
I was concerned about his role on the weekend watching the game. He also seemed to spend a lot of time following O'Meara around.

OK chaps, need a bit of advice this week. Team below, I have $359k cash and two upgrades to do this week. Need help on which players as I'm bit stuck stuck.

Three candidates to trade out Powell, Cox, Warner.
Dusty in for Cox means I can upgrade Powell to $569,400. If I use Warner instead of Cox I can get anyone.

Warner's BE is only 71 and I'd like to keep him until his bye. Preference is a mid with the round 12 bye, but Jelly is the only one I like under $569k, and I don't like him much with the news Greene is out.

So do I keep Cox (BE 80) who will lose more cash and get a better mid (Guthrie, Miller) or go for Steele or Petracca (or someone else) and say fu** the byes?

Interested in opinions/options?
dont think you could go wrong getting zorko/sidebottom in now , and beef up your dpp a bit. could watch on whitfield down back for a week or so and maybe move laird to the guts as a option on your r12 preference

Go Guthrie if you can mate.

Trust me you will be tearing your hair out if you pick Shitracca like I did. Don’t do it to yourself.
I hate paying $600+k for players is the problem. Love a bargain!

Petracca seems to have license to go for the difficult kicks. He's very attacking/aggressive.

Couple of grand short of Warner to Heeney but actually prefer the following:

Downgrade Powell to Heeney (via) Scott.

RCD comes on in the mids to replace Powell.

Move one more forward rookie (Bergman) off the field leaving Warner at F6.

$30k added to the rainy day fund.

If I could turn back time a few weeks ago I so would have picked Guthrie over Shitrucca. Just kept thinking Guthrie wouldn't be able to keep it up.

What a sliding doors moment. 😭

Early thoughts either going Powell and Bergman to Lachlan Jones (if he's named) and Zorko, leaves me 400k next week to upgrade. Other option is powell to lyons/Guthrie then wait to see if Jones is named.

Thoughts, Thanks

How long for Bowes on the sidelines? I might keep him if no longer then a month.

Not too sure a hammy is at least 3 weeks and the Suns have R12 bye so probably not back until R13

Was contemplating seeing RCD score on Friday night before doing my moves and potentially playing him on ground over Kosi, but could only loop Fin Macrae, saw he plays Sunday, and thought "bugger, damn these rolling teams..............."

There's a bloke with a non injury average of 101 for about the cheapest price we will ever see him at in his career not being mentioned a lot. might just wait a week tho.
Jordon to Cerra is almost a straight swap next week. Same Bye round too.

367k in the bank and 17 trades.

Thinking at this stage Warner & Powell out which leaves 1,064,000.

Forward options - Heeney, Hall, Hind
Mid options - Lyons, Jelly, Steele, Boak, Brayshaw

ie Lyons & Heeney still leaves 92k
Jelly & Heeney leaves 180k which could be handy to have sitting for the byes

Means I will have 4 rookies on field - Dev Rob, Jordon who are good solid options, RCD who should get a decent run and then one of Poulter/Scott/Berry. Hopefully Flynn gets a couple more games and edges close to 400k.

Alternatively could skip Heeney and do this:

Any other suggestions?
Quoting myself after thinking about some options (Both warner & Powell traded in all scenarios). Haven't really considered defenders but could bring in a Doc/Mills and pushing Laird into mids.

A) Lyons & Heeney (92k left)

B) Bont & Heeney (95k)

C) Guthrie & Heeney (105k)

D) Kelly & Brayshaw (9k)

E) Steele & Hall/Hind (40k)

F) Boak & Hall/Hind (62k)

G) Petracca & Bryshaw (20k)

Or skimp out and save some money and go Steele and Heeney leaving 153k

Essentially it comes down to either
high priced mid premo & Heeney
OR
fallen mid premo & Heeney & change
OR
fallen mid premo & speculative premo keeper (hind/Hall)

Which is the better combo? (I will need to look at how it affects my bye situation)

It shits me to tears that I started the year with only 4 rookies on the field and after 15 trades I still only have 4 rookies on field.

GGF.

Cerra at 400k is ridiculous. He's a genuine gun, he won't drop below 500k for years. Absolute freebie. Will trade this week with plans for him next week

Hope Jones is in this week. Would allow me to downgrade Chapman to him, which would leave me with the cash to go Gawn > Nank and Jordon > Cerra next week, leaving me with just 2 rookies on the field once Bolton returns.
