If LJones is not picked on field: Warner to Hall and Powell to Zorko

Feeling something a bit similar, though some added complexity.

If LJones is not picked on field: just Powell to Ridley or Hall

Ridley is the one I want, but my forwards need more help and all things being equal, Hall's price might move more this week.

I think Zorko is a fine pick, basically a must have with the current FWD injury crisis. But I'll be skipping him for now. Unless Danger and Marshall progress and return quickly, I like Zorko or Hind after their round 13 bye, even though they'll be a lot more expensive

Find it really hard to believe teams would tag Zorko instead of McCluggage. Zorko's in old man territory, albeit still playing well, but McCluggage is tearing teams apart week in week out. The bloke is sex on wheels. Most damaging player the Lions have atm, maybe along with Rich

The Dons could just be looking for him more, or maybe he's just improving and getting into better positions to receive the ball and run. Maybe the team as a whole is just improving. Still good for 90-95 average I reckon, which is fine this year. But after his bye he'll be over $500k, which seems like a lot

ps. who you bringing in/planning on bringing in over the next 2 weeks to get you up to 21 keepers before the bye? I could do that as well if I 1 up/1 down over the next couple weeks, but I think I'd rather wait for players to have their bye and hold trades.

I mentioned possible role change because I noticed a different icon to what he usually has next to his name on fanfooty on the weekend. When I hover over it, it reads "rotating through midfield" where he's usually rotating in defence. If anyone can clarify were Hind was playing/what role he had last week would be appreciated. I could see him scoring better as a mid where his below average kicking d/e (for a defender) wouldn't matter as much.

Can't agree with this one mate. The bloke hasn't averaged less than 95 since his second year which includes the stinkers we all know he's prone to. In another year maybe but we're all bringing in the likes of Hall and Heeney who surely carry the same if not greater risk than Zorko does. We aren't lucky this year where we have 7 different inside mids who conveniently are forward eligible, will average 105+ and help us fill out our forward lines. I reckon he is this year and I don't think 511k this week is overpaying. 550k after his bye? That probably is

I checked the heat map, almost all touches in the defensive 50. Remember Freo are playing really bad atm, so he probably just had a heap of space. Also did some good things when they won the game. In the game before he did some good things when they were coming back.

Richmond don't usually tag, but they might at present. Reckon Viney back means spuddy Harmes might tag again, Zorko a good candidate.

Dees won't tag, our mids are good enough to beat any other mids bar the dogs h2h. Harmes and Viney are naturally negative mids, so while they don't explicitly tag, its tough for oppo mids to score well.

I think I'd like to trade Bowes, swing Laird down back and bring in a defender but maybe its best to wait a week because Bowes won't lose cash like the other two. Powell > Cerra is tempting although I am already down to 17 on field for round 14. Would love Jones to be named as a downgrade of Cox is pretty straightforward.

Fair enough mate - I personally don't see the appeal in holding a spot for Marshall given his injury struggles this year but CD do love him and there's more than one way to play this game
