Solid week to have Thursday night teams back, currently toying with double downgrade.

Powell & Warner to RCD and Jones (if named). If Jones isn't named then hope one of Powell/Warner isn't and hold off for a week. Heeney has also played on my mind, just not sure I have the chols for that call just yet.

Would mean next week I could go Kosi to pretty much any def/mid/fwd and be down to 4 rooks on field.

Aternate option is Powell/Warner > RCD/Brayshaw. Leaves me with bugger all cash still but one less rook on the field and in a stronger position for this weeks cash league matchup (which is all I really care about tbh). After this week though Brayshaw has Port and the Doggies so maybe not the time to be bringing him in.

Warner isn't a must trade imo. His BE is only slightly higher than his average, he's staying in the team and will play through the byes and can be traded then for a similar price.

He might lose a little value, but he also might have a good score and jump up in price a bit.

I would trade Kosi before Warner in your position.

Just patiently waiting for the Tigers injury report.
If I see "Shai Bolton has made a remarkable recovery and will be available for selection this week", you guys won't see me for a few days, as I will likely break my laptop.
Even a return in round 11 would piss me off big time, as it'll be the quickest recovery in history from a broken wrist requiring surgery ever seen.
Listed as 1-2 weeks on the AFL site. Hoping just 1 more, I'm due a bit of luck hopefully.

Have thought about that, and looking at Sydneys upcoming games I think you might be onto something. Powell > RCD and Kosi > Jones gives me $345k in the bank (Give or take Kosi's price change this week if I hold the second one until next week if jones isn't named). That would put me close to being able to go Henry to the likes of Bolton/Hall/Hind next week or the week after (mid upgrade would be preferred but i'd probably have to cash out flynn or warner to do that), then it just becomes a case of how long can I hold Warner for before I need the $$

nothing will beat Tom "Jesus" Hickey

This is the first time Hall has played HBF .....his whole career has been midfield / fwd / wing

New Coach / gameplan can often throw up opportunities .....he was ready for picking last week, but I decided to miss a price increase to have one further look .....he passed the eye test :whitecheck:

Also had surgery over the off season to correct breathing issues, he's looking better than he ever has.

He's thriving in his new role under Noble.

This is how I felt with May. Kent was meant to be out for 2-4, most likely 4 Melbourne was saying, with a fractured eye socket. He misses one week and is back in. Trading him out that week and then having to trade him in because his price was so low really hurt my season.

That's not true. Club was saying he would be back once the swelling came down. They did not put a timeline on it, but 2 weeks seemed like a reasonable time frame given what his eye looked like the day after compared to a few days later.

Yeah I'm wrong about Melbourne saying 4 weeks, but most of the media was saying 4 weeks. Kents sucked me in.

Sounds good. Depends a bit on who is playing in the next few weeks. I generally don't like going a week late on rookies but RCD might be worth it.

My loose plan for round 14 is Flynn downgraded (if not playing) Warner and Jordon upgraded. But we'll see, might need to get rid of Flynn before then.

That's just minus 1 week from their original 2-3 listing, Tigers haven't released their injury report yet, so it means nothing. In saying that the 2-3 weeks for Bolton was from a journo, not the club, the Tigers label things as "short term", "medium term", etc, so the weeks were an estimate.
What I'm trying to say is the AFL injury list is a joke 😂 They just estimate and then update it as the clubs release their reports

Cerra was 3-4 weeks and missed 3.

I'm choosing to ignore your (probably correct) lack of faith in the AFL journo's as that suits me better.

This must be how Trump supporters get through the day, ignoring reality :moustache:

LOL! We both have Shitracca.

Gun.

Scoring tons with shit disposal. Imagine what will happen when he hits a target! If he’s your biggest problem, may as well start planning how to spend the 50k

How are teams with 4 premium mids in one of the bye rounds managing that, does it not make your midfield to weak especially if rookies get dropped?
**** the Byes. No point not getting the best possible option just because he has one week off. He’ll score well the other weeks instead. Just get the best player possible and overall your points will be higher. Only a concern if you’re league focused and hovering midway or below on the ladder.

So you reckon just take the hit that week, and make it up in the other 2 bye rounds mate?
