I need to get some rookies off the ground ASAP.

So to somewhat conserve cash in the bank this week I am thinking

Warner to Heeney
Powell to Steele or Jelly (leaving 150-180k). or go out and get Lyons but only have 92k in bank.

Next week
DevRob or Scott to Cerra.
Maybe FLynn to rookie

Leaves 3 rookies on field (Jordon, RCD and Poulter) and hopefully enough bank to upgrade two of them

So this week I'm hoping Houston and Steele score low and Flynn scores 100. This will give me enough money to next week trade Bowes>Houston and Flynn>Steel this will leave me with 12 trades left and No rookies on the ground.
Can you trust that shoulder his been subbed twice?

Not too sure I will watch their game this week and see how he looks. My other option is to trade Bowes to a midfielder and keep Laird down back.

Got Greene to deal with this week, however none of the forwards really appeal at all... I could get Heeney and bank 120k but he is just as likely to get injured, Impey and Hall are intriguing but not 100% sure.

Now, we are all going to have to ditch Flynn sooner or later.. Is it worth trading a rook like McNeil to Treacy via DPP, and then turn Greene into a mid Premo rather than a forward?

The plus side with this is it also will allow me to trade Flynn in one trade when the time comes, however the downside is it leaves me with scott, poulter and bergaman\waterman on field in the forward line which is a bit of a worry.

This is my current shitstorm of a team with 17 trades and 36k

Any thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated.

I personally wouldn't be looking at a mid premo, I think it would be a bit of a points waste to have one of Jordon/RCD on the bench at this stage of the year given their scoring potential over the forwards.

If you don't like any forward options though it's a sound plan.

Thanks for the reply mate.

Yeah I agree, jordon and RCD have much better scoring potential than any of the forward rooks. It's a waste benching one of them.

I'll be looping RCD tonight regardless, so it he doesn't score well I may think of bringing in a mid but if he goes well think I'll just stick to the plan and bring heeney in, at least I bank 120k out of it which can be used for an upgrade next week hopefully.

Warner to Dusty all but locked in. I was set on Powell to Jelly all week until he was named HFF. The appeal of Jelly is his bye, low ownership but also his price would likely leave me enough to go Jiath to Ridley next week if I want/need to. Other options are the more reliable Steele but that bye is a turn off and reliable Lyons but leaves me with virtually no cash. Reliable would be good as I already have Titch and Tracca who are frustrating.

Both my defender bench rookies are dead so I have to trade in a defender to avoid a donut...

Have farrar to deal with as well. Berg cooked, Powell cooked...it's just too much now

Fantasia - RCD via Laird
Farrar/Powell/Bergman - Poulter

Have you thought of holding Warner until his R14 bye? 4 scores of 60 and he only drops 15k which is nothing really.

Powell > Dusty, swing him forward for Scott/Poulter and loop them with RCD.

Can then do Jiath > Ridley this week instead.

Gives you another week to assess Jelly's role and if its affected by Greene being out of the team.

I have but I don’t feel a rush to trade Jiath and I’d like another look at Ridleys role.

I'm in all sorts now!

Have reversed trades but I am worried about copping a donut?

Any suggestions how to avoid?

It’s really not that bad. Campbell is injured so trade him up to a premium. Or look at trading Powell to a premium. Murphy should play but if not you need to deal with that D6.

Powell to Daniel/other (via Laird to MIDs)
Campbell to Dusty/Hall/Hind (via Poulter to MIDs to cover Brayshaw)

ez

Murphy might play so you're OK at D6

If he doesn't then no clue brother, you might just have to cop a donut, or trade out Mansell/Highmore for somebody cheap

Powell>Dusty
Mansell>Maynard

oh oops haha

OK so if Murphy plays, then I reckon you do

Powell to Hind/Hall
Campbell to Maynard/Daniel
(with DPP wizardry you can cover Brayshaw)

If Murphy doesn't play, then you gotta grab a couple cheapies. Mansell + Powell + bank = $880k-ish for 1 DEF and 1 MID or FWD "keeper"

or just grab a rookie in the backline, do 1 upgrade, then save the cash for next week

Murray would be the obvious one or Jones if named.

Is the idea behind Hall/Hind keeping more cash in the bank? As I can afford to go Steele etc.

Or so that I can afford to also do the Manyard/Daniel thing?

Are people still including May in the Maynard/Daniel convo?

Curse these Thursday night teams (I jest, for reasons below.

Just short of going Powell to Oliver (bit more short of going Powell to Lyons), can get one of em in if it involves a downgrade of an e.g. Berry to Jones. Surely if he doesn't get a gig this week after Port's power went out last week he can't be far away. Highmore looks to be a 1 game every 4 or 5 weeks player on the bench.

Think Highmore might be sub this week.
