Paddy and Membrey offer two strong marking targets up forward. Tell Paddy the forward line is his and make him own it. Our small forward 50 pressure will increase due to Minchi.

Savage gives us better kicking. around the ground, and hopefully, drive out of defense. Keeping DMac gives us speed that Roo doesn't offer.

Wouldn't be surprised if Brown was a late out for Bruce. Not that his been bad but he doesn't really have a match up against the Dogs. Bruce would provide another target up forward and could play back if needed.

I doubt Carlisle is going forward. The last thing any club needs against the WB is to be slower in the forward line. I think we have tried to WB the WB but unlike Bevo haven't had the courage to drop a tall back to help with our run.

I agree with you, down think we need brown for this one but it'll be interesting to see how it plays out

Both sides gone smaller. I actually wish WB stayed bigger. I don't see who Brown can play on and I'm worried by our run out f the backline.

Keeping brown was a good idea imho.

With a inexperienced key forward in Paddy. A 188 sized forward as our targets. It could go horribly wrong. We have a versatile Carlisle who can go ruck if needed, or go forward if our forwards ain't performing. If we dropped brown and our forwards ain't performing. That's it we are done.

Just in case Longer or Our forwards ain't performing. We can use Carlisle with brown on Boyd/English.

I think you have to remember we're a different team without Webster in it. Would expect Roberton to play more of Websters roll on the weekend and Carlisle to play Robertons with Brown on the Tall Forward

Also their forward line is an unsettled mess, they have no targets to kick it to, i expect us to basically break the record for intercept marks in the defensive 50. With DMac, Sav and Robbo they won't easily run it into our forward line either

This will be won with pressure. If our mids are able to exert pressure on their inside 50 entries and force them to bomb it in, then our taller backs should be able to cut off and intercept.

That was way before Bevo coached them. We don't need to be bigger up forward. They have the best running backs in the AFL.
