The rivalry only being more recent is a misconception.

I has been going on since atleast the 40s and probably earlier.

Kreuzer, Hampson and Casboult together, yes, all 3 should play:

The dons will stretch us for height, with Ryder and BellChambers in the ruck, plus Carlisle, Hooker and Fletcher all big'ns. Gumby probably won't play, having been subbed off.

In Betts, Hampson
Out Menzel, Bootsma

Judd*, Carrazzo* under injury clouds. - save them for Hawks.

If Judd injury not serious then pick a midfielder to omit. :(

Watson shit against Swans, Stanton kicks at 43%, Bombers lose by 7 goals.

Stop those 2 and it's :hearts::rainbow: :thumbsu::D:thumbsu::rainbow::hearts: come 10pm next Fridee...

These two and Hibberd. He gives them a heap of run off HB, and we could use Army to play as a negating HF much like he did on Hurn against West Coast.

But there are two numbers that mean more to these two proud clubs than any others: 1993 & 1999.

If you don't get shivers while reading that, you're doing it wrong.

His 'Baby Bombers' stole the precious from us on the last Saturday in September 1993. And after that, we vowed to hates them forever.

Proving the gargantuan stature of this rivalry are the historical results. This is no manufactured seat filler. This is the real deal.

I can't wait for the cut and thrust of game day. I absolutely dread a loss to this mob, therefore I savour the sweet taste of victory all the more.

Well done Azzurro ... one of the better previews, with some excellent lines! :thumbsu:

Not sure if this thread is going to be turned into a discussion thread, or just remain about changes.

Anyway, have been reading that Judd and Carazzo are not certain to get up for the game. Bummer.
Really miss seeing Judd get toweled up by Hocking, and Carazzo having his face rammed into the ground.

Let's destroy these arrogant pricks.

Judd rips them a new one every time he's played them.

Absolute flogs

In: Judd, Betts
Out: Bell, Menzel

- I thought Bootsma's game today was quite and is a possible match up for Crameri who gave us huge headaches last year
- have a feeling Carrazzo won't be back, and even if available, Lucas would not make his way back in
- thought Menzel was good, but has to make way for Betts
- Cachia stays in with him and Curnow to wear down Watson
- I think Robbo is one more game away from being dropped. Just thought with another year under his belt we wouldve seen more composure from him. But he has a job to do on Fletcher this Friday

Very excited about Friday as I think we can win!

Judd will play next week no doubt about it.
Even if Carrazzo misses, we've still got Curnow, Armfield and even Gibbs to do a negating job if need be.
Lets see how that fat arsed wombat Hocking copes with Judd having a week off!

Don't forget Cachia :)

carrots under done, needs to come back via the 2s. if juddy has a hammy then count him out.

bell needs to stay in to counter the scrum from the those dodgy scums.

casaboult to half forward. he can't kick for shit so let's make him our new Earl Spalding.

dons coming off a loss... will be a hard fought win by the blues :)

One of these 3 will probably need to match up on a smaller opponent in our forward line, good luck to whoever it is.....

Carlisle might be required forward yet if Hurley doesn't get up although a Daniher debut would not surprise.
