I believe the coach was talking up Danger, SDK and Rohan as probable inclusions.

All three would be entirely welcome.
Understatement. Even if we only get Danger, or Rohan, Cats will win and win well. I tipped against Cats last 2 weeks, but to lose a 3rd game in succession and at home would be catastrophic IMHO. Cats by 37 points

Like it or lump it, an in form Dangerfield instantly makes our midfield competitive.
That is the understatement of the Century !!!!!

Dangerfields 1st qtr against Essendon - and i have watched it about 5 times ( and he did the same the previous year to Ess ) when the Cats led 38 to 0 - and it was all because of his outstanding/exhilarating play - in my opinion that was as exciting to watch as the 3rd quarter of last years GF - thats how good it was

I'd also suggest that a down on form Dangerfield also makes our midfield better - he'll be our #1 mid and the key player that the opposition will put time into, and that will help others may get a slight bit more freedom than they have the past couple of matches

Surely people aren't thinking of Rucking SDK in replace of Ceglar :straining::nogood: No Bloody way....

Far from ideal in normal circumstances, but our circumstances are far from ideal.

Blitz and SDK are a notable improvement on Blitz and Ceglar.

That, of course, changes if SDK were to hurt himself, but we're fighting for survival, and it's the chance we probably have to take to get the wins on the board until Stanley gets back.

Until Stanley returns, it's a move we're likely to see
Id rather Stanley any day... but I would rather Ceglar to do the back up job in between he comes back.... SDK looks like Tom Hawkins playing ruck ( in when he played there 12 years back , not in the forward line ) looks totally lost

Except we won't see Stanley for another 4 weeks, and Ceglar is struggling. Meantime Blitz is tiring under the extra load, and therefore needs more help.

Ceglar did a good job against probably the best ruckman in the comp... im mot sure what people expecting Ceglar you do... He definitely didn't win but he definitely didn't get his arse kicked... he competed and did a good enough job.... Even got some votes from people on this board...

He wasn’t struggling against Richmond. Don’t forget it was 26 in Perth and Ceglar was opposed to a surprisingly agile behemoth

He did better than expected, but he can't run games out, and he can't cover the ground as needed.

We can't afford another loss..... we've got to play the best team we can muster, and hope for the best between now and the bye.....then hope Stanley returns.

And that means Ceglar is in the side...
