Good Cumberland needs to earn his promotion with consecutive strong VFL performances, we need players who are 100% invested and performing to the coaching standards
Vfl has bye. He needs to learn in the 1s. We have the worst fwdline in afl. Wtf. Cumberland is def top 26 when we cant score and he was bog last week with 4.

New Voice says ... No change lol

Not quite, Ben Miller, Sam Banks, Tylar Young have come into the squad so there could be up to 3 changes before final teams tomorrow night.

For those who like a conspiracy: Was Dow only selected last week so he couldn't be shown up by Narkle in last week's VFL game?

If so that definitely back-fired lol

Garbage that McIntosh is going to stay in and Cumberland will be sitting at home with his thumb up his arse while the vfl team has another bye.

Had enough of McQualter already.
Cumberland has to be sore or has a niggle

Everyone involved is obliged to keep shooting for finals until it becomes a mathematical impossibility.

At that point, there's still basically half a season to go, plenty of time to blood kids for whom small blocks of games (say 2 x 3 or 4 in 10 weeks) are ideal at this stage.

Have to wonder, what exactly would we be 'tanking' for - high draft picks? :drunk:

slightly surprised no cumbo and sonz

but still good squad as far as I am concerned.

it just means we are prepared to put up with guys having a crack, but making mistakes.... and we don't forgive and forget it when players play 2 games in a row with lack of defensive effort and team first ethic.

Our season will be reignited this week. Port are justifiably a flag contender, but can they get a W at the MCG? I predict we bring home the win and remain only 6 points outside the 8 with three very winnable games going into the bye.

It's about time for a TheLoungeLizard thread

We're going to *******e this scum

GTFO how about rewarding the player who was BOG and had a cracker of a game.

Anyone else that would've had these stats would be in without a shadow of a doubt. I remember when he kicked 3 v the Dees but after that was quiet, some were saying ohh where was he after the first qtr lmao. Well, Mansell kicked two in the first and didn't do much else after that apart from missing an absolute soda which would've sowed up the game and then got outsmarted so easily by Heppel which in that play won the game.

Noah Cumberland (17 disposals, eight marks, five inside-50s, four goals)
"Noah won the Sir Doug Nicholls Award for best on ground on the weekend. His defensive acts were particularly pleasing and I thought he started the game really well with a great aerial contest and contested mark inside 50. But, it was his ability to lean into his team and provide energy right throughout the day."
