Re: Round 12 Captains

In his last 5 matches against Geelong, Kane has averaged 120.

Worth a punt, or go with Ablett, whose record against Port isn't that good?

Re: Round 12 Captains

With Brad Sewell out of Hawthorns lineup, Scott Thompsons is looking even more appealing.

Bartel and Corey also have good records against Port, not sure who played on who last outing but Corey had a blinder and Bartel has had massive scores in previous outings.

EDIT: Kornes went to Bartel in Round 1 and somewhat restricted his scoring to 75.

Cox not a particularly high scorer against the Dons (perhaps due to Hilles running ability and tendency to drift forward?) but nonetheless you can't count him out of having a big one when he may be up against a second gamer in Bellchambers.

Decisions, decisions...

Re: Round 12 Captains

Anyone from the WCE or Collinwood and you should be okay. COX, Priddis,Swan or Didak look like big scorers.

L.B.F against Rutten and bock i say no.
Richo could go well and any geelong star.

can somone give me an update on swan
i was going to put him as captain but everyone keeps saying that he's sick or injured

Not sure why there is all this love for Swan. Our midfield is the one area of the game we can match it with the Pies.

Cox against Essendon for mine

Yeh you will better there midfield but you cant tag at all so it wont affect Swans game, i really want to know whats wrong with him because he seems like the perfect cap this week.

Maybe because Swan's average against the Blues is 100?

His last 5 games have been 109, 109, 123, 136 and 114.

Thats why there is so much love for Swan. Also he is extremely consistent and even on bad days (last week) he can manged good scores.

im leaning towards LRT, shouldnt cop a hard tag against the saints. a massive game is looming :thumbsu:

My decision for this week:
Looking at the last few games for Coxy against Ess. 71, 86, 76, 77. Hmmmm - not overly inspiring.
Was Cross injured the last time he played Brissy? (Scored 29). Before that though he scored 89, 100 113. Decent.
What about N.Stevens against C'wood? Solid history of 93, 109, 104, 110.
Do we think Chappy is fit? Against Port - 101, 108, 109, 80.
Chad has an awesome record, but must be consider suspect due to his health.
Didak is on fire, but not a great record against Geelong - 95, 55, 58, 127. Risky I'd reckcon.

Safe options look like N.Stevens and Cross.

That was the game he went down for memory.

I'm going to look at Kornes or Corey this week... Corey's round one score, considering they're playing Port again, is somewhat hard to ignore.

That joke had run it's race 6 weeks ago.

Time to find some new material.

Don't quote him. I have him on ignore. :thumbsu:

Stevens is an interesting one. Apart from last week, he's been super-consistent since getting some fitness, but has hardly been mentioned by anyone as a potential captain. Expect 110+

If Chad plays (and I think he will), I reckon he might rack up a massive one... 130+. Obviously risky with the injury/rest/surgery talk, but could prove a master-stroke.

Hard to go past Kornes for mine.

my team isn't blessed with a kornes, ablett, corey, bartel, or swan (yet). i might have to stick with the ol' cross, or maybe m.murphy/stevens against collingwood?

thompson is gonna tear it up once again against a sewell-less hawthorn. i think cassisi will go to ablett and k.cornes to corey/bartel. richo will tear up melbourne, and kerr will eat essendon (sc wise).

can i get some advice while i'm ranting on?
luke ball against sydney at the scg & palmer against the kangas with a possible rawlings tag, or houli against west coast & cotchin against melbourne?? should i get my bench boys a run with the possible low scores my starters could get??

also who should i get out of goddard/mcdonald/malceski

Lucky he's playing the Blues this week then.
