I feel like WHE has lifted his effort, particularly defenaively. He covers the ground so quickly and its great to see. His form has improved.

If you could see all his gps data and full suite of stats, I’d guess it’d show that he’s not working any harder, just more impactful since he’s moved to the wing.

Congratulations on the win. Just more polished in front of goal and elliot had a field day. We must have had collingwood tops inbedded into out minds as i think we hit up your players more than we hit our own. It shows what quality in the midfield can do..we had keays and laird..full of huff and puff but you guys had pendlebury and sidebottom who are just class. We deserved to lose tonight. Just hope we can snare that elite mid in this years draft. Good luck for the rest of the season

Great to see another win and some glimpses of a more attractive style of footy. Elliott was a star. Great to see him back. Bianco and Poulter just look like being winners. A couple that won't get too many mentions that I thought went ok were Lynch and Murphy. I wouldn't say Lynch won the day against O'Brien but some of his ruck work was surprisingly good. Murphy didn't get a lot of it but he competed really well and was probably inlucky not to stick a few more marks. I love the way he throws himself into it like a maniac and I just think that a real break out game is not too far away for him.

Dunstall is one of the most biased flogs on TV especially hates Collingwood - I LOVE where the Hawks are at present !

Loved the way some of our lesser lights stood up... or at least contributed. Dont think we really had a bad player all day with the arguable exception of Sier but he was injured early.

Rantall....out of position didnt get a lot of it but did some good things
Madgen...if he has to get a game it surely has to be in defence. Was ok
Murphy ... added some hardness in the forward line
Lynch... actually a pretty good ruckman at the bounces
Brown... was very good in the half a game that he was called up to play

It was the most even performance we have had in a long time. Sidey and Pendles had super important touches while all of Thomas, WHE, Cal, and even Cameron at the end had moments of influence. DeGoey makes things happen and just needs to be in the play.
Seeing that both Moore and Mihocek were down by their usual standards it was a win full of merit.
oh yeah and didn’t hurt big Tex spraying them round like Trav Cloke either.

Yeah and I think it was excellent seeing the young kids out there getting involved and standing up in the tight finish! They contributed when it mattered!
