Probably the best course in Tassie behind Barnbougle. If you are about on a Sunday let me know as we have plenty of guest days, so would be happy to organise a round with you.

Cheers,

I'll change flights to suit if i end up going!

But...depends on what handicap you play off;)

Correct. R5 was his Hammy strain. R7 was listed as a back injury.
Same injury brah
A back-related hamstring complaint had forced Hanley to miss round five and the most-recent seventh round, while Brown failed to pull up well from their maiden win of 2014, a three-point round-six victory over St Kilda.

Hanley missed round five with a hamstring injury, played round six, then missed the weekend with the hamstring-related back problem.

Do it. He's going to rise to 400k and you make 200k in the process.

i PERSONALLY think Carlisle is like 3rd party insurance, cheap and reliable

for me he's like a cloke, F6/ F7 eg: D6 / D7.

He isnt going to get any cheaper and IF he plays a defensive role for the bombers he will score well.

God if Hooker can score well anyone can!

I'd love to end up with Carlisle D7 ...Cloke or the like F7....Stef martin F8 / R3....and a Decent M9...maybe Swallow from kangas if he gets down to 400K

My key emergencies have to be basically guaranteed a game

If you went Lanford to Carlisle then you could go Polec to Ryan Griffen I think (need to check cash...)

Thanks for the replies fellas. If I do that I'll have $290,500 cash left and just need to upgrade 1 Mid, 1 Def, and 1 Fwd. Ambrose still mooing, along with Salem and Shenton, and hopefully Langdon. Langdon to Hanley is a pretty small price difference at this stage too.

Play off 12 at Royal, but play like I'm off 25 quite regularly!:thumbsu:

I'm about $3k short of Griffen, leaves me with $513,100 to spend. Could do it if I went Langford > Litherland but he doesn't have the JS of Carlisle.

Best I can get with the Langford>Carlisle trade is Cotchin/N Jones/Delidio/Cooney types. Happy to let em moo a bit more to get a Griffen/Selwood/SJ in a week or two.

How about Ebert as a massive POD? Has looked solid this year (I think he tanked at WCE for what it's worth) and was quiet last week. With him named as Captain this week for Port he could be due for a huge score...

DAmm on Griff

I'd just do the one trade

Hmmmm, interesting. Hadn't considered Ebert at all. Will look at that move!

Have changed my trade plans around. Gone Polec > Shenton and Langdon > Bartel (could go any defender, Bartel seems like the best option).

B: Swallow, Simpson, Bartel, McVeigh, Hanley, Langdon (Langford & Gardiner)
M: Ablett, Pendles, JPK, Beams, Selwood, Tyson, Polec, Shenton (Crouch & Salem)
R: Sandi, Goldy (Currie & Thurlow)
F: Danger, Martin, Zorko, Pav, Higgins, Fasolo (Ambrose & Cameron)

18 Trades left and 165k

Who do I bring in for Polec? Watson, Murphy, NDS, Hibberd, Ward, Barlow or an injured Fyfe etc.

And what should my second trade be? Thinking Crouch to C.Beams.

Zac smith anyone? As an option to bring in for Mcevoy.

When is Nicholls expected back?

Looking at him potentially as a 'get out of trouble' if Sauce doesn't play.

Zac Smith scored well in his first year. Will only get better as the year goes on. I would do it. No one knows how long Nicholls will be out for.

Everyone I need some help. Who would you pick? Bartel or Malceski? Thank you

Bartel if money is no issue

be patient, dont settle for a 3rd string mid, everyone else is getting 8 gun mids

Yep, pretty settled on just Langford > Carlisle to bank around $90k, or perhaps include a second trade of Polec > Shenton to up the kitty to around $290k.

Of those probably Watson, but I'd suggest Steve Johnson. Trouble is he'll be cheaper next week, but Polec will lose value too. Goddard is another good option.
Crouch to Beams looks a great trade.

I like the three bolded, perhaps in the order you have listed them, then NDS due to the Kangas run home if you want a POD.

Eh, not sure what to do this week. Thinking of doing no trades, but thought about Tyson > Goddard. Not much else my money in the bank allows me to do. Not sold on that though. Ideas?

Hey guys, I'm stumped for what to do with Matthew Boyd. I don't want Lewis Taylor's score again.

Started great guns for me, still averaging 114, but missed last week and not named this week.
He's 31 with a soft tissue injury - this concerns me. Mid premo's need to be 120'ing every week!!!!

I've already gone M.Wright to Shenton - this is locked in and I won't change it.
8 trades left, $149,200 in the bank

Options (keep in mind, goal is OVERALL):
1. Boyd to expensive premo (JPK, Rocky, Libba etc.) will cost me 50-70k, but my score ceiling is higher.
2. Boyd to discount premo (Swan, Barlow, Fyfe etc.) will also make money, but who will get 110-120 average from here?
3. Boyd to forward premo via Shenton (Gray, Parker etc) not ideal, have to play Shenton and Tyson, but fwds finished.
4. Boyd to McVeigh via Langdon - only makes 20k, but finishes defence and opens up DPP with Tyson/Langdon playing M7/8 this week.
4. Hold Boyd and play one of L.Taylor/Hartung/Cameron/Ambrose. Shenton already playing.

I'm leaning towards JPK, he's a beast and the Swans are firing. OVERALL is my goal.

I don't mind running low on trades, planning to take 4/5 into last 8 rounds. Happy to keep Tyson & Langford for a while.
This means I'll only need one more upgrade after the Boyd trade.

Thoughts? toxic Kadog Judd_Magic StevieDewar krk004 Anyone else? This is the most confused I've been all season.
Next beer's on me fellas :D
