Polec to Shenton locked away. Shenton to Pendles in a few weeks time is the plan (cant afford Polec to Pendles now)

Tossing up between trading Mcevoy or Langdon to Jaensch.

Team is as follows with 11 trades and 13K
View attachment 60676

Polec to Shenton and Mcevoy to Nic Nat gives me 287K.

Or do I hold Mcevoy (with no cover) and bring in Jaesnch for Langdon

I have three more premos to bring in - Pendles, premo defender (Jaesnch or Mitchell), premo fwd (via ambrose and Taylor)

Any other trade ideas?

Stevie, I fear that McEvoy may be out for another couple of weeks. If it was 'just' a corkie surely he would have returned this week. Nicnat V Ceglar & Lowden this week could bring you some reward, and he looks to be getting back to his best. Langdon > Jaensch could wait one more week I reckon.

I need your opinion please!

I am looking to make an upgrade either in my BACK's (Langdon or McDonald) or FWD's (Higgins or Fasolo).

I have $219K in the bank

I am more tempted to go either:
LANGDON > BARTEL
OR
FASOLO > BUDDY

I am inclined to hold Higgins as his breakeven is very achievable this week and there is still growth..

Langdon to Bartel I reckon.

Your backline needs the upgrade more IMO.

Just thought of this idea, does it sound stupid?

Langford > Jaensch

Next week Langdon > Hanley

And then for my final midfielder later on bring in a cheap Sam Mitchell at M8 and can use him to cover backline injuries if need be.
If you're doing those trades then trade Langdon this week, Langford next and save yourself $8K.

Unless you need Langdon on field this week or something.

Langdon > Jaensch
Polec > Goddard

I know I missed the boat on Goddard at his cheapest, but take out the injury game and he's in the top 10. Hard to ignore when he's still a reasonable price.

Anyone with gold know how popular trading in Jaensch this week is?

What are your reasons for saying that Hanley has more upside than Jaensch?

I am starting to think that Henderson coming back will affect Jaensch so maybe Hanleys the better pick?

Jaensch or Hanley? o_O

Minus injury affected games Jaensch (100.2 av), Hanley (98.2 av)... Hanley is more proven over past seasons as a solid scorer and has shown his ability to score big (R2 this year 138 v Cats). Jaensch has never had a good season in SC so it's more of a risk IMO, he could drop off or Henderson coming back could affect his scores. Hanley is nearing full fitness and should get plenty of pill in the Lions side. He's also some what a POD.

Was going to go Langford > Jaensch but now kinda thinking that maybe I should go Hanley instead as a POD?
Stick with Wrench, I mean Stench, I mean Yench. You'll be doing all us non owners a huge favor :)

Dodgey jokes aside, stick with your trades. They're solid. You always have the option to go Langdon>Mitchell or Hanley (if his form picks up) later on.

Have 187k in the bank
This week I'm thinking
Taylor > Jaensch via Langdon dpp

Next week Langdon becomes SJ

Although I'm not sure what to do with McDonald, he has lowish b/e of 38 although he's only expected to go up 20-30k over the next few weeks
Any other opinions? or different options for this week

Trades look good mate.

Litherland should get at least a few more games in a row I reckon and its not like there's anyone else to downgrade to so go for it I reckon.

Plus you get to get Gray in aswell while NicNat looks like he is slowly coming back into some form. :thumbsu:
