It's not worth burning a trade for 30 points from Butler.Not a cash grab, it's all about the points and green dots next week.
Option 2 ideally. JS is kingAre you looking for someone to play immediately, or someone to stay in once they debut ?
On Redmi Note 5 using BigFooty.com mobile app
Not a bad shout, though not sure I will be able to keep Paddy long term, as reckon I'll need the $200k+ that I'll get from downgrading him when the time comes.Another idea is if you plan on keeping Paddy long term. You could trade in a $102K Def/Fwd now to swing Def/Fwd with him as loop/DPP for double line coverage, when you downgrade Fwd rookie. Then get to wait for those two targets mentioned to actually be named.
Prob is might not generate any cash.
Totally get that. Its the same reason I am having trouble working out which rookie to pick this week. do I go left or right!!Not a bad shout, though not sure I will be able to keep Paddy long term, as reckon I'll need the $200k+ that I'll get from downgrading him when the time comes.
Charlie Dean - due in after r14 bye - very likely play out the year.Option 2 ideally. JS is king
If he comes back and continues on his 110ish average he will get up to about 550k.Could survive this week without bringing in Gawn for Preuss and then reevaluate next week, just so hard to know if Preuss will be getting a run.
Guess you've got to decide whether you'll be more pissed off by trading him out if he comes back in and goes ok vs if you hold him and j isn't selected.
Pain in the arse, tbh, we're not ******* clairvoyants.
I've kept Preuss (but not 100% sold on the move) and went Hayes, Durdin to Teakle and English, 20 on field, and will re-evaluate Rd13, what to do with Preuss.If he comes back and continues on his 110ish average he will get up to about 550k.
You will still have the overlying injury issues and his lack of JS considering Flynn is a premo also pretty much.
Gawn is also a decent captain option.
Id do the trade.
I went Preuss to Darcy myself.
I have wanted Darcy for weeks.I've kept Preuss (but not 100% sold on the move) and went Hayes, Durdin to Teakle and English, 20 on field, and will re-evaluate Rd13, what to do with Preuss.
In a perfect world you wouldn't take either. They have just been too inconsistent.Short term fix, which Luke - Ryan or McDonald?
Given the uncertainty, you may be better off getting a minimum priced DPP who is unlikely to play. Really depends on your cover in general, whether you need a warm body in round 14, trades left, etc. Rookies brought in at this stage are probably only 50/50 prospects to be culled given lack of trades.Need a Def rookie, don't need them to play this week and suspect Parnell has zero JS, trying to decide between Wehr (whom may be out with Whit back) and going super SUPER early on Durdin! other option is Def DPP doughnut and potentially trade one in next week if picked when culling McCartin and DeKonig
Short term fix, which Luke - Ryan or McDonald?
Hayes to TeakleI am struggling to decide weather to bring in English or Darcy and not confident that the rookies will hold there spots.
Can I please have some advice.
Option 1
Preuss -> English
Stephens -> Owens ($5,200 in the bank)
Option 2
Preuss -> Darcy
Stephens -> Wehr ($14,700 in the bank)
Option 3
Preuss -> Darcy
Stephens -> Owens ($21,300 in the bank)
Or can you suggest a better option?
