I'm waiting on Chad, hoping for good news so I can do Armitage to Armfield/Ward/any other cheap rookie getting a game then Rioli to Murphy/Burton/whoever. Would've loved Armitage to make me some more coin so I could get Franklin/Richo but that's DT I guess and if I do trade Chad it means more time for Wellingham/Armitage to mature.

Salopek > Kornes
Rioli > Franklin

Chad might be out though, if he is then that screws up my plans. Rioli to Franklin is definite for this round though. If Chad's out and J. Edwards doesn't play then Salopek stays for the year because I'm running out of trades.

Is that a joke.......your trading Salopek?????

Rofl.....

If Chad is out for a long period (which I seriously hope he isn't) I was thinking of maybe taking a risk and trading him for Mcleod (who is deliciously cheap $230k) and then upgrading Rioli to Murphy/Franklin/Gia. Otherwise just keep Rioli and trade Chad for Mackie/King/Stiffy/Bock/Bowden, whoever is the best. Hmmmm, desicions, desicions.

Yeh exactly the same thought process i am goining through.

If Chad is out for awhile (which i think he will be), then i am thinking of trading him (for either Bock, MacDonald, Bowden, Mcphee, Malceski?? etc) and then upgrading Rioli to ROK or Nathan Brown (i really like him and both unique picks).

Let me know what you end up doing....:thumbsu:.

Bradshaw-->Fisher

OR

Bradshaw-->Armfield + 205k and start Myers

Cant decide which option to take
How many trades left?
If you got a fair few and need the 205k, it might be worth the risk and upgrading other players with the cash. Otherwise if your team is finalised, you would be crazy to bring in Armfield and play Myers for the year just for the cash which you don't really need.

Team is finalised after trading out Bradshaw. Weakest links then would be Porpz and Simmonds but they are scoring pretty well. Any defenders other then Fisher? Already got Birch, Milburn, Cornes, Shaw, PBurg, Goddard and of course Bradshaw. Finding it hard to find a decent backman

Armitage > 72K Rookie
Rioli > Gia / Chapman/ NG Brown/ O'Keefe

Chapman has OP, I've already got Deledio so don't want Brown, O'Keefe playing against Saints this week, so NO. Which leaves GIA!!!!!

That is exactly the same as my backline except i have Mattner for Bradshaw.

Yeh it is hard finding a backmen, i am looking for a suitable trade for Chad. I am leaning towards Bowden atm, but Also Newman is a possibility.....hrrrm:confused:.

Im in the same position, looking for a back up to 330k max. What do you think of Bock?
I have Cornes, Shaw, Goddard, Milburn, Waters, SDT/Armfield starting until I upgrade SDT -> Birchall in 2 weeks time and Bradshaw.

I think you should go for Bock/Fisher or even Mackie if you can afford him? Won't be much between the 3 by the end of the year.

Who do you think I should get for 330k or less?

I refuse to choose Bock after last year :p Choosing Mackie will leave me only 35k in the bank which is abit low for my liking. Im also thinking about Bowden but not too sure on him. As for a backman under 330k, Bock (;)), Birch (Could wait a couple of weeks) and Milburn (331k IIRC) are the prime candidates or you could take a massive risk and choose Malceski.

Backline: Shaw, Birchall, Bolton, Gilbee, CCornes, Osborne, Mcleod (Brown, Ward)
Midfield: Cornes, Cross, Stevens, Goodes, Palmer, S Burgoyne (Mackay, Callan)
Ruck: Simmonds, Hille (Kreuzer, Tippet)
Forwards: Franklin, Akermanis, Pavlich, Johnson, Brown, Rioli, Mayne (Burton, Valenti)

7 Trades, $33,200

Obviously sweating it out on the Cornes situation. Should i make the double trades this week:

Mackay > Armfield which then leaves me with $150,200
Then trade Rioli > Murphy/S Johnson

Then next week Mayne goes back to the bench and burton comes back on.

What do you guys think? or should i hang tight on the trades for now?

I'd probably go option 1 if that is your situation, i mean Simmonds to White and Porps to Richo would get more points than just trading to Fisher but would use a few more trades which are probably better saved.

As for other backman, Malceski could be a good risk. If Chad is out (arrogant pr*ck) then im going to look at him very closely. Very risky but can score really big, especailly with the Swans 'Tempo' game now and then during games. Only 1,000 people have him also which is a nice unique pick but should be stated again, a big risk. Sam Fisher is also a good option and is around the same price as Malceski.

If you have the money, Mackie is also a very good option. These are the three i'll be looking at if 'the arrogant pr*ck' decides to save face and have misterious knee surgery on his knee that has supposedly troubled him for 3 years.

Ah yes, chuck in Bowden and Malceski to your list.
Bock hasn't burnt me before so I think i'll go for him.:thumbsu:
I'm staying away from Malceski, to risky for my liking.
I know how highly your ranked so even with just 35k in the bank, id go for a unique pick in Mackie. If he's the 3rd highest scoring back(which he is very capable of being) you could take out this competition IMO. Bowden is a risk. Will he get back to old form? Played forward a fair bit against the Crows.

BTW I have Milburn and am getting Birchall;)
