Am I the only fool that has held onto Gilbee the gimp?
I think I've decided I'll trade out Cornes!
Buttttttttttttt, need some advice! I have 9 trades left and don't know whether to trade..
Cornes > Enright
Or to free up a bit more coin trade...
Cornes > Xavier Ellis
What do people think? I'll also be trading Nahas to Didak this week!
Then I'll only have 2 more upgrades to make, which will hopefully be getting Hodge in a week or 2 and then getting Stevie J in about 2 weeks... if i get ellis instead of enright it'll make getting hoge and stevie j a fair bit easier!
Hmmm what ya reckon
Ellis is a great trade IMO. Will rip it up if he can stay fit. Had an interrupted preseason, and scored 93, 116, 20 (injured) & 75 in less than 3 quarters last week. That's actually given me an idea...
B: Goddard, Fisher, Newman, Gilbee, Chornes, Grimes, Broughton (Cheney & Pestinko)
M: Ablett, Selwood, Judd, Foley, Haselby, Rich (Muston & Dangerfield)
R: Petrie, Tipett (Jacobs, Spencer)
F: Riewoldt, Pavlich, SJ, Deledio, ROK, Roughead, Ziebell (M Brown & Wright)
* 10 trades, $126k, ranked 813th.
All week I've been set on Chornes > Hodge, & Rich > NDS. Now I'm thinking I could bring in Ellis instead down back, bring in Montagna for Hase, and bring in NDS next week. My options:
A) Chornes > Hodge...& Rich/Hase > NDS
B) Chornes > Ellis...& Hase > Montagna (Rich > NDS next week)
The advantage of B) is that NDS's price rise next week SHOULD be almost offset by Rcih's rise. Also Hase is due to drop alot next week, so is possible that this is really the last week to get rid of him.
Thoughts...please??
I'm thinking of going
Halesby -> Ablett
Krakouer -> Riewoldt
leaving me with 240k leftover and 7 trades left

Warren (inj) -> Dick
Bowden (doubtfull future) -> Goddard
Two sideways trades, but I have justified it at the moment unless someone talks me out of it.
i wouldnt wait on rich, i did the same thinking he should offset ablett...didnt....not i missed pav by 10k.
i wouldnt go near hodge, unlike the others he hasnt really shown signs of any huge improvment. i would swap hase this week before rich. NDS is a solid pick and i'd def go ellis over hodge.
I'm torn between Suban > Heath Shaw or Zeibell > Stevie J. and thought s wouuld be appreciated. here are my back and forward lines.
Godard, Fisher Gilbee, Adcock, Drummod, Grimes, Suban (Cheney, Spudrenka)
Reiwoldt, Delidio, Roughead, Higins, Goodwin, Skipworth, Zeibell (brown, s wright)
Bloody drummond and goodwin are out this week but hopefully only for one week...

With Shaw playing against Sydney this week, I'd be looking at Ziebell > SJ (or even Didak). I also think SJ will outscore Shaw for the rest of the season.
Should I go for Matthew Boyd or NDS as an upgrade? The extra $50,800 will be handy, but is NDS worth that much more?
lol is that a contradiction... Dont choose shaw cos he's playing sydney but pick up didak....
Didak is dirt cheap though. Shaw is prone to inconsistency, and if anyone is going to give an inconsistant player a bad game, it's Sydney.
Any thoughts on Boyd v NDS?
NDS would be the obvious choice but Boyd could make ur team more unique and possibly win/loose a game.Montagna is obviously better this year so NDS might not be tagged as much.
Hard to choose - but NDS would keep ur scores similar to opponents.
Hey guys, do u think that
Rich - NDS
is a good trade.... if i do that i will have 8 trades and around 80 000 in the bank.
that will leave my midfield as Ablett, Judd, Bartell, Selwood, Sewell and NDS!
Thanks in advance!
Scotty won't get dropped after his game last week.
I'd look at Cornes > Hodge, and maybe Warren > Ballantyne
Hey guys,
Skipworth---> J.Brown
Cornes----> Newman
Good Idea?
Leaves me with 7 Trades left and about 30,000 in the Bank.
Hmm is Hodge 100% fit? and he has a high-ish B/E this week of 130.
Ballantyne will be a popular pickup but will he play this round
I'm getting Hodge next week for Cornes. I don't think he'll go down a heap if he gets his average.
With his game next week, I'd say he'll be well and truly over his corky by then. A bit of a risk, but he'll be back the week after at worst.
