Culley was miles better in the WAFL and is as close to a Reid like for like as our list has (obviously night and day but in terms of capability to play mid and also swing forward).

Unsure about the Culley specific hand wringing, our mids are getting worked as a unit as expected but don’t think it’s at his door.

Who says we have 'godlike' mids?

We have Sheed and Gaff, who are beyond cooked + Yeo as our senior mids.

The rest are kids.

North have a far superior midfield, they just suck everywhere else.

Defensive solidarity and North's incompetence going into attack is all that is keeping this competitive at the moment.


Once this match opens up, things are going to get a lot worse unless the issues in centre can be addressed.


Need a lot more pace coming from behind the ball to exploit the Kangaroos on turnover.

Would be nice to have the option of moving Jones back, but the forward line is already too tall as it is.
