I wish it was at the G!
I hate Edihad stadium, doesn't suit us, tonight and last week v Carlton prove this

Good game tonight, can't understand how you guys lost some of those home games earlier, on tonight's performance
Best of luck for the remainder of the season!
We play better away than at Subi with the current team. The big open spaces dont suit us in the slightest.

One bad quarter didn't help tonight. But at least they did fight it out. Embley needs to retire he gives us absolutely nothing

Our problem is having one bad quarter where we can stop the run on. Good effort and nice to see some pressure, fight and improvement. There is still work to be done though.

Is there any chance we can get in the top 8? I seriously thought this match was do or die. Please tell me it wasn't?
obviously at this stage of the season it isn't. But with the run of good opposition, we will have to play like tonight/better than tonight to win enough games to get in.

WCE v ESS
ADEL v WCE
WCE v FRE
WCE v SYD
WB v WCE
WCE v GCFC
ESS v WCE
WCE v GEEL
COLL v WCE
WCE v ADEL

That's why I wish tonight's game was at The MCG, not Edihad, as we love the wide open space
Yeah but whats the weather like? Remember that game at Subi a couple of years ago when it bucket down at night? At least at Etihad no chance of that.

I really, really, really want Shuey to have a blinder. I want him to have a 30+ and two goal game against a top four team

33 disposals, 2 goals :thumbsu:

Some better signs. Good effort but some very dumb thinking. Also still to many fumbles. Confidence can build quickly! In the second Q we allowed them to physically dominate but came back well with several sore players. Hawks not look like a premiership side sio we need to keep this in perspective. they are clean and well drilled but not uniformly great.

Admirable with a player down for Q1. But, must play 4 qtrs.

At least a loss you can watch again.

I think we are learning more about the list under better pressure as well. A couple of retirements look likely.

Saints can now bid for Brown. Dazzle is a good worker but thats all. Emberly is passing. Kerr may as well. Butler is depth only at best. Young mids are much better and we have some to come back. Forward set up is dumb.

Suspect we will have a few out for next week.

thats the problem we played as good as we could and still lost by 20 and the hawks prob put in one of there worst performance of the year

Yeah hawthorn played like crap

f***en umpire c***s! Where is all the f***ing holding balls that shouldn't been paid to us, f***en inconsistent.
Good effort boys, screw these victorian pricks.
If they "shouldn't been paid" and weren't , then why you so mad?
I'm Victorian, but I'm not a prick!

Seriously? Kerr is our best mid. Seriously when ever i see him get the ball i know he will do a good pass or kick. Who ever says he should retire is dumb. Without kerr we would not be able to get out of tight traffic

Not sure, I'm on holidays in Seattle
Tried to stay awake till 3am for the start of the match, but fell asleep
Woke up at 5 for the last quarter

We must be doing something right to be 11-1, strange comment. We haven't played a 4 qtr game just about all year even in our big wins. Sydney was by far our best game of the year. We also are not playing our best clearance player full time in the middle hence we have struggled the past 2 weeks in there, Lewis and Sewell are out of form for some reason and its leaving too much to too few. It's the 1 area we could get exposed if we dont get the mix right later in the year.

Overall that was our best game yet. By rights we had cause to win that, despite the scoreline I think we outplayed them for most of it we were sloppy which cost us.

didnt play great, ive seen them play a lot better than that throughout the year and they dont play well at etihad

So no consideration for the fact that maybe our efforts didn't allow to them play at their best

Umpiring favoured Hawks. We got pinged for 2 HTB that they been letting go all year and they got goals.

Not the reason we lost though.

Poor decision making and Cox helped us lose that game. Seriously had enough of him playing for frees and doing little else around the ground like he used to do.
