Contemplating trading Dusty.

Will be going sideways to someone in round 16 anyways and with a Break Even of 160 this week, maximize his dollars.

OK guys..Let me preface this by saying i'm going for league wins, I have top 2 spot sewn up and hardly no $cash so gonna use this week to go 1 up and 1 down, and then next week do the same again. Lloyd & Macrae are my 2 big targets.

This week
Yeo -> Foot (which I can swing Dusty into mids this week)
Sicily -> Lloyd

Next week
McPherson -> rookie defender
Aarts -> Macrae (via Dusty back to forward)

Any other suggestions guys? Much appreciated

Unless I’m mistaken, if you win your first final R14 from 1st or 2nd, you’ll then have 2 weeks ‘off’ before the PF in R17 and GF in round 18, which means Dusty (and Grundy) become POD’s for all those who couldn’t afford having 1million unused dollars in their teams for that final.

Umm, I think you're missing something here: A D6, the "rookie defender" you bring in next week ends up your season-long D6

Am I crazy in wanting to go Viney to Bont? Will surely score more from here on in, BE of 20, I can afford him and given I’m not going for overall, R15 bye doesn’t bother me.

I would like to get a decent backmen in from downgrading Boy George but can't get anyone I like aaggghhh.

Cottrell might have to do for Moose McPherson.

Then upgrade Serong.

Would be good if Gould cane in loop with Cottrell....Swans have Alier Allier,,manbun...who also could Debut..

Yeah exactly, I would be relying on either some rookie/Watson/Gould to fill D6 (which wouldn't matter in a best 18 scenario but can easily be a donut in a best 22 situation)

Looking at my team, what do you reckon? Other option is get Lloyd but get a cheaper premium mid for Yeo trade, e.g Boak, Adams....etc?

Get Chips Lloyd then the best mid that's had their bye....Gaff,Shuey, McGarth types....IMO...

If Gould is selected I'd look at bringing him in instead of Cottrell as it would allow me to trade Sicily to Lloyd instead of Ryan.

True story - Colin O'Riordan played a NEAFL game in Darwin a couple of years back, he got a injury in the rib/lung area.

Because of this he couldn't fly back to Sydney - he had to be driven back by a couple of the welfare staff. Bloody long drive, took 2-3 days

Because of this he couldn't fly back to Sydney - he had to be driven back by a couple of the welfare staff. Bloody long drive, took 2-3 days

From memory a player got driven from Perth back to Melbourne due to having a rib injury.

Did he get the injury in game, drive back and miss the next week due to that injury? Essendon wouldn't risk him if he's ribs were cooked. They have rested their defenders over the last few weeks, why wouldn't they rest him instead of Hurley 2 games ago or Redman last week? Sounds like it's all bs to me......

I read on the adelaide injury report skywalker has been ruled out for this week but is a chance to return against the hawks.

Prob just get cotrell and gull for sicily.
