Ben Cavarra at 144K is a forgotten option since Rnd 1....all he needs is for someone to mention his name.

We can then completely dismiss him, and happily chuck a wobbly when he kicks 3 and posts a 95 this week.

He could have scored 95 last week had he kicked a bit more accurately. Great timing for the zombie rookies to rise. Gould, BJ Williams & Dev Robertson next hopefully.

I think Cavarra gets a run now. We don’t have anyone like him and we need a small pressure forward in my opinion.

Need to bring in a premo fwd: really struggling to find a worthwhile pick

Top 8 fwds based on 5 round avg below.

Hawkins - was considering last week ($%^* should of, could of, didnt) - has R15 bye - can he continue?
Dusty - take out the 184 and he's sub 95
Brayshaw - MUndy and fyfe back and he scores 67
Ryder - has the r15 bye
JJK - very poor start to the year, seems better since he's back at OS

Just below these players is Darcy Parish who has 1 score under 88 in his last 6 games I believe.

I wanted him but went Simpkin instead to save some cash.

Unless you already have him of course.

Parish has been good for a while, but with Stringer set to return, expect his CBAs to go down again. Scored poorly with Stringer in the team.

Why would you take out Dusty's best score?

I'd take Dusty for sure. His bye doesn't really matter and the Tigers still have to play the Crows.

Because if he doesnt score big again - 1 in 11 rounds - then I'm stuck with a sub 95. Who knows with Dusty if he'll do it again.

Super Secret Squirrel stuff though. Shhhhhhhhhhh.
Looked alright to me...every chance Bevo gives him a good chance.
Ii see Bytel the pick, but i'd have Cavarra also before Foote this week.

ok fair enough. i suppose you should take out all players' highest score though if you want an accurate comparison.
Its not so much the highest score as the fact its such an outlier compared to his other scores. 73 more pts than his second highest. Not sure he will do it again so I'm thinking his likely average going forward will not include another one.

I'm not sure that's the best way to estimate future averages. Happy to agree to disagree.
