I don't recall them saying that. I recall saying games would be played on 17 of 18 days, similar to the previous festival of footy, which was 20 straight days of footy.

Nah they do say 17 games over 18 days but even if they did mean 17 days of footy over 18 days, that is still wrong as it’s 18 days over 19.

Misinformation being repeated over and over is driving me insane. It keeps getting said even in the SuperCoach email.

Injuries have prevented my initial trade plans for this week. Intended to upgrade Serong/Georgiades to a premo. I’ve definitely got Sicily out with Yeo & Gawn uncertainties.

Option A:
Sicily > Lloyd
Yeo > Foote
Bank $266k. This will allow for Serong/Georgiades upgrades next week.

Option B:
Sicily > Lloyd
Gawn > Naitanui
Bank $71k. Yeo will have to sit on the bench for another week and trade him along with Serong and Georgiades next week.

Good point on Gawn, that BE of 240 worries me though.
If Brander plays, has got the lower BE (46), be better to move on Georgie (BE 76) for Foot?

Either way will be able to get Bont/Steele/Boak/Brayshaw

Thanks, I understand the rules but what I’m saying is why does everyone keep saying 17 games over 18 days?
At no stage does that ever happen and if it did that’s a severe lack of footy in any season.
Rounds 14-17 has 31 games over 19 days.

If Ridley misses, could use it as an opportunity to get Petracca in. A looped rookie D6 for 1 week isn't much of an issue with best 18 the 3 weeks after.

Would also free up cash to do Goldstein > Gawn R15 if Gawn plays next week and scored under 180.

A lot of cash on the bench. I would look at something like Mcpherson/Simpson > Rookie and Cameron to NN/Rob/Goldy.
