OUT: Johnson, Dean (no matchup), Bytel
IN: Kruger, Reef, Hoskin-Elliott

Frampton back to defence. Reef and Kruger forward, with Kruger rucking.

Move Markov’s to wing WHE half forward for Bytel.

Kreuger for Macrae as we need the extra tall forward.

Smit to the second ruck role, Framtpon bacl at the expense of Dean.

HF: B.McCreery - N.Kreuger - W.Hoskin-Elliott

I: O.Markov - L.Sullivan - H.Harrison - B.Frampton
S: F.Macrae

We clearly need more size/competitiveness forward of the ball. Frampton is clearly more suited back but I think given that Melbourne have no dangerous tales, I think you can get away with Dean playing back again to at least give us some structure forward.

Given the midfield injury list, I would consider Maynard/Beau and even IQ in there to get some size and power through there. its going to be a real problem just being over powered around the ground by Oliver/Petracca/Viney etc

No doubt we get told about a further 3 injuries from tonight’s game we are unaware of yet.
Hard to compete for 4 quarters when you are missing 8-10 senior players.

Krueger may come in for AJ, but I doubt he’ll make much difference. We have literally run out of what we consider ‘tall forwards’ at Collingwood.

Then there’s Reef. Hopefully he’ll return.

And WHE - he can help plug another forward hole.

These returns should allow our defenders to go back, and save us from the dummy spits and melts over defenders being used as spare part forwards.

Dean and AJ need to come out. We haven't won a game with them playing.

Dean needs to be played in position, or replaced by Howe who himself is replaced by Frampton.

AJ… yeah I wish you luck.

This my Opinion but I can’t see us getting within 10 Goals of Melbourne next Monday

We wont. Melbourne will be desperate to get a win after the QF loss last year. That's incentive enough for them to throw everything at us.

With our injuries, we'll see what WB did in Q4 across the whole game next week. We'll be crushed in the clearances and the ball will spend 80% of the time in Melbourne's half.
