Round 14 Trades

I took a risk last week and traded cotchy and watson to prestia and redden. Sort of paid off but really should have moved Higgins on sooner. I was hoping he would find that form he had a few weeks ago.

Yeah hopefully they produce for me. Prestia with 146 on the weekend was a good start. Plan was not to trade them 2 obviously and upgrade higgins and Langdon instead. It's all about overall for me. I'm still really tempted to go Miles to Swan and use that cash for upgrades on Langdon and Higgins and use the left over cash in 3-4 weeks to upgrade shenton or miles to SJ or someone.... huge risks but it could work.

What's up with Breust? This week I've downgraded Jamar for a non-playing rookie so I could upgrade Bews to Hurn. I'm starting to wonder if I'm better off keeping Jamar as the ruck back-up for when Sandi gets rested / Martin makes way for Lewey (which seems like it will happen) and getting out Breust with his high B/E and current Spudliness for McGovern.

Thoughts?

Its much easier to help out if you post your whole team cash in bank etc.

Pretty much locked in Talia to Hurn in defence. Was doing Jamar to cheap ruckman to build a cash reserve for the final 3 upgrades come finals time but may need to keep Jamar due to Martins lack of JS. So that's why I'm tempted to trade Breust, Higgins or Lynch for McGovern. I know it means I'll basically still have at least 1 but probably 2 out of these 3 spuds at the end of the year due to no trades left but that's my own fault for picking a horrible side with no real structure to start the season.

You might cop a donut this week cooney not playing and K Mitchell might be dropped.SMartin will play he can play forward and back just wont score as well as number one ruck with sooo little trades dont trade out playing players like bruest/Lynch.

Not really, got two non playing rucks on the bench, Walker's BE is 107, thought I could grab the cash and use it in a few weeks to upgrade Shenton to a premo mid

I've watched Nic improve over his time as footballer and last week was one of
his better games, in his top 10-20 odd games over his 100 game career. He looks fit again
and said on the nightly news that he was having no issues with his groin problems. Hope

My bench is absolute junk but am going for overall and hoping to ride it out by just trading anyone who won't play. Strategy has been to get as much cash in the 22 as possible.

Option 2 keep the russian and get the best mid (price range 569k) bye downgrading hallahan and hartung then upgrading shiton.

OK, I can actually get some backup sorted if K. Mitchell is dropped (and if he is I don't really know about his chances of getting back in) by going Talia to Hurn, and Shooter McGovern by Gray to mids. Avoids donuts and completes my back and mids. Then hopefully I can get a cheap S. Mitchell via Shenton (or McGovern at his current rate) around finals time and swing Gray back into the forwards if I have to.

It's gonna be a crappy completed team but.
