I’m not all that keen for another Corey Ellis or Thomson Dow or RCD when I already have a player who can turn it on with the best of them. We even nearly missed out on Balta because we drafted CCJ before him. That’s how shit our recruitment in the ND has been.

At least Danny Meyer had one touch hands and could kick straight.

When a leprechaun can take a contested mark in our defensive 50 then enough said. Conversely our forward line is nothing short of shambolic. Cumberland should be subbed out at halftime, has lost every single contest, I know the quality of ball around half forward hasn't been great but just halve a contest for Christ sake, not close. Meanwhile we have a potential ball magnet McAuliffe keeping a seat warm.

Interesting test for Yze and whether he just hopes thing turnaround or he actually moves some magnets and makes things happen. Currently the Hawks simply have way too much space and time to be so much more clinical with their ball movement compared to our slow fumbly movement when we eventually gain possession and for the most part immediately turn it over.

Just to add, our foot skills have to be the worst in the competition, maybe just kick along the ground into space might be the better option at times, at least we have some chance of regaining possession.
