HH doing a great job, probably our best. He'll have plenty of suitors come season's end. Finn has been excellent.
Serong and Macdonald both having great games.
Reeves good in the ruck, Ramsden good but playing a position that does not suit him.
Wingard very quiet, can't understand the calls for him to replace Breust????
Ward butchers the ball, 50% of his possessions have gone straight to Geelong. That first quarter kick under no pressure was laughable.
Ryan improving game by game, he looks a beauty.
DGB just ok.
Scaife, sorry, way too raw at this stage, but potential is there.
Ethan Phillips is solid, but very slow. Need to be McKay size as a key defender to get away with that lack of pace.

Didn't take Chad long to make an impact when moved to the center

DGB and McCabe have been pretty flawless defensively. McCabe's movement and ball use look so fluid and confident. He looks like he could debut this year, which is pretty crazy.

I wanted to put Bodie Ryan in that same category but he did let his man slip a few times late in the second. Still a solid game from him especially in general play.

Scaife is getting looks at goal but Ramsden is impacting with pressure in a way I think could be more useful to the seniors if we're coming up short for KPFs.

Bennetts has looked very clean when involved (hits front and square very well) but I want him to be more prolific and put pressure on the Ginni-less senior forwardline.

McCabe in action.

He looks amazing, out there!

Careful with characterisation in hawthorn boards

He's SLOW. In general play he's a liability, can't stop his opponent from getting the 2m gap to be an option.

He's very good by hand, actually looks to put team-mates into space rather than handball to them. Has all the 'trick-shots' - over the head, inside-out scoop, etc. Is neat by foot, but not particularly creative or classy, which is a little odd considering his work by hand. Solid tackler though I think it's his height/reach that helps there at VFL level, he's still pretty slight so expect AFL guys would push through/out.

He's the sort of player that will either become a Very good AFL #1 ballwinner, or won't make it at all.

He featured a lot when Will Day was out.

Super fumbly early in the third. Dropped marks, missing passes and poor handballs.

The plague that infected the seniors is affecting us a bit - Geelong always put pressure on regardless of AFL or VFL.

These ward dinky kiddy kicks need to stop now. He needs to put that shit away.

He's either got to hit them flatter or hit up someone longer - it seems to always put his teammate under pressure.

Can't fault his endeavour - but his final product has been poor. At least he's trying to kick forward a lot than sideways, which was his previous knock.

Geelong defence is really well organised - everytime cuts off our pass at the half forward line.

Meanwhile we seem to let them up to the paint of our 50. If that continues, Cats will win.

Scaife completely in his own head now - having an absolute mare. Decision-making now affected and making poor choices.
