No changes for me. We're playing great footy. Reward those who are performing, not those who performed in years gone by. Stratton and Puopolo have been poor all year. They should come back through the 2s and earn their spots.

That said, I expect Stratton will come in for Heatherley. I'm not sure Puopolo will come straight in given Doc's performance.

Hopefully it's very cold and wet. Shit conditions hurts their game style far more than it does ours. Providing we play our 'kick it off the ground and tap it forward at all costs' wet weather footy and not the handball happy style we've been playing at times this year.

GWS - just like every other side this year - is gettable. Just need to take the game on and pressure them all day.

Stratts out for an extended period of time, so no option of him coming in.
Poppy in, Billy out.
If Big Boi is injured then in comes Vickery to play predominantly as first ruck. It may be the best thing for him.

The way we're playing we've got a great chance at Tassie

Hartung is the only 1 in our 22 atm that i would change, could Morrison get his debut this week? or Miles get another run?

i think Clarko said Strattons knee was swollen after a soft training on thursday, so i doubt he will play against the Giants

Is Hendo injured? One of our best today.

I’ll admit my bias as I’ve never liked him. Was poor before he arrived at hawthorn and is average at best now.

I feel he turns the ball over more often than anyone else in the back half and it always seems to end up in a goal.

Hartung is interesting. Doesn’t appear to have the skill or composure to play seniors however I can’t see him being dropped.

The games he has missed have highlighted the importance of his running role. His engine and hard running provide the relief kick option out of defence. When he hasn’t played we seem to have zero backup options coming out of defensive 50.

Agreed, we saw how geelong worked their arses off and gave GWS no space, they couldn't cope until the cats tired in the last quarter.

Stratton unlikely to be ready now according to Clarko, swelling in his knee again and will go for scans.

It will be interesting to see if Poppy finds his way back at the expense of Duryea who was pushed out of position.

Langford and Billy were ordinary against the Pies, too. Billy has only kicked 3 goals this season, he needs to capitalise on his attacking attributes because his defensive ones aren't great. Langers, similar story. Clarko wants him to be a tackling and running midfielder who is dangerous around F50 stoppages, but he has also kicked just the 2 goals.

I think we'll be okay for height with Brand, Burton, Sicily, Gunston and McEvoy able to swing through defence. To be honest, if GWS get a decent number of inside 50s then we'll lose.
