I was in the band 1 camp for JB but he's nowhere near it. Band 2/3 will do. Feeble and ineffectual.

Think a few too many of you campaigners have had too big of a weekend. Not the first time a team with nothing to lose has a crack in the last quarter and comes up short. At least we did enough work to win for a change instead of being absolutely pummelled.
Take the 4 points, as I said before, most of you bastards didn't even think we could win the last 2 games. So why does how much we won by mean so much?

Credit on the team for grinding out the win and holding firm. Lesson learnt, onto Brisbane next week

Watching at the ground the pies took the game on with abandon of caution. The minute the overcooked out we were going to get the goal that killed them off. It took a lot longer than expected but out was almost certainly going to happen.
We've won a game that we dominated.

Ross is serviceable but for his own good he should look for a move. Not best 22 going forward when you consider Jones, Gresham & Clark are out injured. Byrnes’ 15-20 possessions are already better than a Ross 25 game & he will only get better. Dunstan, Steele & Crouch in the middle with the injured blokes to come into the squad is a formidable midfield when all available. Would love to add a real classy midfielder to that group though. That’s never gonna be Ross.

To think we are still in the finals race is hard to believe after the injuries and our intensity for most the season.

Probably the only good thing to come out of our injuries this year has been the re-emergence of Dunstan and DMac. It’s been really good to see we’ve actually got some players we’d probably mostly written off.

Seeing as I missed the entire game whilst en route to Qld (and some sun!) did we miss Battle? (sounds like Wood was good again) and how did Leo go? Sounds like Byrnes is growing nicely. King with two goals is an improvement too - must help his confidence.

They did the same sh*t against Port Adelaide. Terrible last quarter but no doubt that will be discussed in the review. Regardless our percentage does not matter, we need to make the eight on points and at the moment we're half a game out. Never seen such a response after a win.

They did the exact same against Geelong as well. It's what Collingwood do.

Actually with all that depth for the HBF and back pocket, there will hopefully be no excuse for not playing Clark in the midfield, if most or all of them are fit and in form next year.

He really should be the gun we get to add to our midfield. Get his ass fit.
