Game won’t start for another 7 hours but I’m confident in saying that the umpiring is already utter bullshit and Weightman is embarrassing himself by flopping all over the place.

I'm already practicing my deep breathing and relaxion therapy techniques:-

It's only a game.......

Must not get enraged at Bulldogs friendly umpires.....

Haven't been able to get to a game in awhile, really looking forward to getting along so i can see how we are moving off the ball and off the screen. Last week was big and we failed, this game becomes even bigger in how we respond. Cave in, and lose on our home deck and the wheels could come right off. Huge response and a win will get us past last week and we can continue our way at getting our best form back.

Our midfield isn't working well together, and our superior forward line is also out of sorts. Dogs have midfield depth and like to move the ball fast, so will be a very good test seems to struggle against quicker and strong midfields. It's all about building our form to hit the finals flying now.

I'm confident that at least half of our players are useless and need to be delisted
Fagan should resign. Why did we play Tunstill ? Hipwood isn't up to it any more. Adams can't kick. Charlie's gone missing. Andrews doesn't look interested. They've tagged Lachie out of the game. Lyons is just so slow now. Another cough up by Answerth. Why don't we put Berry in the middle ? If Rayner could only do that for a whole game. Daniher should've handballed that. Another senseless 50 from Zorko cost us a goal. McInerny can't ruck to save himself.

I'll be back with the second half later.

Rather than losing, I'd say the coaching staff are not placing bigger demand on players. Ruthless coaching group would have tore shreds off our players demanding more n more all throughout the season, especially after performances like last week.

This could also become player driven too. Push each other - don't accept mediocrity and reach for excellence as a group every single time they step on the field.

How do you know that they haven't? Just because Fages didn't have a giant crack at all the players during his postgame presser doesn't mean that they haven't been harsh in review meetings. We have absolutely no clue.

I'd personally say purely from a management perspective that I wouldn't want to be led by someone who publicly hangs you out to dry just to satisfy someone else. You and others (myself included) were no doubt steaming mad at the players last week, but that doesn't make it a good idea for Fages to 'tear shreds' off the players in the postgame. That seems far more appropriate for direct feedback during the week with the players.

He gave them a Mulligan and said righto boys let's forget all about last week , this week's a new game . Let's go in with the same plan ,we thought it would work last week and were a bit unlucky Melbourne had a day out.

It's worse than I thought.

I thought you were giving a quarter time summary.

I agree in principal but not against the two grand finalists the previous year on a Thursday night. These two games are not the games you give a kid exposure otherwise as someone else said, give them games on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday twilight against North or Essendon.

I suppose that if you believed that your side was a match for them and you wanted to show a young man what it took to be an AFL player they would learn more from hands on exposure to the fires of hell than a gentle wander through the australian wildlife reserve ...?

I'm glad to see that Bailey Smith isn't playing this time. His celebration last year mocked my culture.

Brab living on the Gold Coast isn’t a culture

Pop down to the Nerang station and say that to my face.

I don’t want any trouble Mr Brab

Also I don’t venture south of Beenleigh station.

I don’t want to see Rich kicking to the boundaries, and I don’t want to see Eric or Joe leading to the pocket.

Maybe it's a deliberate tactic.

I haven't noticed us being at any particular disadvantage as a result of boundary throw ins.

Are there any stats on them?
Dont know much about stats prefer watching...... the opposing ruckman often seems to get first hand to the footy....Nathan is big on stats he may pluck some out from somewhere😉 for you?
