Butler was decent when we came on. He needs a full game. Unless Breust gets injured chad’s going to need to do a lot more at BH.Does Chad play? All jokes aside.
I think pittonet is back playing so TDK likely to spend some time up forward.No. TDK is a permanent ruck. Silvagni usually plays 3rd tall.
Btw, isn't Nash the perfect match up for Cripps!
Ah yes, I stand corrected.I think pittonet is back playing so TDK likely to spend some time up forward.
Will keep it close, but feel if Carlton even play a quarter it'll be enough (a bit like our game last year)Carlton had the bye this weekend which statistically looks to be a benefit for us.
Bye bye, four points: The stunning trend hitting post-bye teams
Tipsters take note: You'd be brave to pick any of the sides coming off a bye in round 16www.afl.com.au
^^THISScrimshaw has his strengths but one of my frustrations is that I see his playing style as often killing momentum. This is in stark contrast to the rest of the defenders and I think Sam's preferred playing style.
He often stops, takes too long to assess, slows down play.
^^THIS
Hope so. He is a senior player which is what we need. Would love for him to have a run through the middle.Does Chad play? All jokes aside.
I’d have MacKenzie as a sub, has been doing well when brought on later in the game when the pace has slowed.IN: Ward, Stephens
OUT: Bramble (omitted), MacKenzie (omitted)
B: Hardwick, Blanck, Impey
HB: Scrimshaw, Frost, Mitchell
C: Amon, Worpel, Day
HF: Moore, Koschitzke, MacDonald
F: Breust, Lewis, Brockman
R: Reeves, Newcombe, Nash
OUT: Butler, Meek, Ward, Stephens, Bramble (Sub)
I don’t think we can carry both Wingard and Bruest in the same forward line anymore (given they both are both unable of applying any defensive pressure).Does Chad play? All jokes aside.
You’re kidding yourself if you think he gets offered a ”holiday”.Any chance that Meek is offered a holiday.
Was one of my favourite highlights Meek crashing the oppo.
Lol at Keays getting finedMeek was cleared earlier.
MATCH REVIEW: Crow fined for ripping Cox's glasses off
The Match Review Officer's findings are in from Sunday's games in round 15www.afl.com.au
Hawthorn ruckman Lloyd Meek has no case to answer for his bump on Darcy Macpherson late in the first quarter of the Hawks' loss to the Suns.
Meek is free to play.If Meek doesn’t go at the tribunal (which I don’t think he will), I’d be sending Noodle back to the magoos And bring in Long. Ins: Ward, Long; Outs: Noodle, Bramble. Long to chop out in the ruck when Meeks needs a spell. If Meeks goes, Long still comes in for the same reason. Either way we need to reassess the two specialist ruck selection week after week. It’s depriving us of an extra midfielder.
Agree with McKenzie, I noticed a couple of occasions yesterday where he could of laid some tackles if only he showed a bit more desperation. Hopefully he was just having an off day.In - ward , cj
Out - scrim , McKenzie he needs to dominate in the midfield for boxhill and work on his defensive side.
Bramble sub
Day playing the sicily role and ward straight into the middle.
