They can both hit targets by foot. Suprised how good oxleys kicking skills are actually.Oxley makes Seedsman look as hard as Adams.
It really bothers me that we're playing this game at Etihad despite the G being vacant that day, while Melbourne v BL at the G the following day.
How long until our crappy contract obliging us to play 2 home games at Etihad each year expires?
Soccer is at the MCG on Saturday night.

Our wingers are varcoe, sidebottom and seedsman so one of them I would assume. Crispy is our most defensive mid without being a hard tag so makes sense to go to your most damaging midCrisp has 9cm on Gaff, but about the same size as Rosa. Who would line up on Rosa if he plays on a wing?
Not to single you out, but it's funny how we've gone from bagging our tough contested players for being shit kicks, to bagging our skillful users of the ball for being soft.Oxley makes Seedsman look as hard as Adams.
What's wrong with Sinclair?Unavailable:

Jeez we were down to 4 a week ago
Priddis is a very inside player, I'm not sure teams bother trying to tag him much. Shuey and Gaff are our most damaging mids, they are the ones tagged by other teams generally. Hurn also gets close attention most weeks as you can't afford to let him rebound out of your 50 without consequence! Our wingers are varcoe, sidebottom and seedsman so one of them I would assume. When west Coast have played North in the past has greenwood gone to priddis ?

Playees who combine great disposal skills with great contested ball toughness are pretty rare - there's a reason why they're hailed as great players.
We have players who play different roles and all of them have different strengths and different things to work on. We need a balance, and ideally for players to address their weaknesses as well as develop their strengths.

Adams isn't injured, so isn't really the same thing.
****ing oath it should be building on them. One thing Buckley said on Monday caught my attention, which is that he picked up on a few things that weren't right during the preparation for the Port game.
He said he noticed that the need to win was building on the playing group (not in those words), who became more focused on the result than actually doing what was necessary to win the game.
I wonder now after 3 straight, very narrow losses whether the confidence has eroded and we start to slip off.
Oxley's kicking has always been the main strength of his game. It's his willingness to hit the contest and his rake-like frame that are his issues. They can both hit targets by foot. Suprised how good oxleys kicking skills are actually.

Wait, since when is Sinclair unavailable? Have I missed something?Unavailable:

You missed the point. Oxley is an outside player, an intercept marker rather than a contested type player, and that's fine. His willingness to actually hit a contest when it's neccessary though, is distinctly lacking, and that willingness is something every player needs, regardless of the style of game they play. Not to single you out, but it's funny how we've gone from bagging our tough contested players for being shit kicks, to bagging our skillful users of the ball for being soft.

Pretty irrelevant to be honest. There are plenty of slow players in the AFL who have carved out very successful careers. Not every player has to be lightning as long as they can be in the right places at the right times.and he is slow
