Although a team can end with a number of players on their list who are "trademan like" or "workhorses"

You need 10-12 "A" grade class players on your list ......not sure you have them & really disappointed in Stephens season .....Carlisle not delivering on what you gave up for him

Jack Steven has absolutely had a poor year. Carlisle on the other hand has been good in the eyes of saints supporters. When able to play his natural intercepting game he does great things for us.

Averaging 109 over the last 10 weeks. Would take that from half my premium mids!!

That 13 or whatever it was he scored early in the season has depressed his average by a fair amount too.

He has to be under serious consideration for a starting backline spot next season.

He is a bit of a nutcase but theres more positives from that than negatives

Yeah,as a Hawks supporter you'd love the passion, he'll always go super-hard, and he's pretty versatile. Same as a kid like Maynard for us - not a fan of all of his antics but at least he's a goer
