Cox to Naismith is probably all I look at this week, but need to see teams first, only got two trades and 51k left, but the 150k I get from this downgrade hopefully turns some shit truck into Dahlhaus/another bottomed out type in a few weeks depending on injuries then I sit on it and hope I have enough depth to get me through the year. Bartel could be gettable perhaps too in a few weeks, he's already had his rest so I expect him to play every week and I have DPP links in midfield to utilise him in.

Carrying Wells is my only concern with guys like Phillips, Reid and Hammelmann as his only replacements, Clay Smith would've been nice cover but then my last trade would only be used for an injury/sideways only so I'm banking on Naismith as ruck cover here.

I wonder if North keeps Norfing their season then they look at putting Wells on ice?

looked good two or three weeks ago with bench cover of D Tucker, C Byrne, J Trengove, B Crocker, J smith & T Phillips
then injuries to Laird, Liberatore, Ablett, Deleidio
Bench cover wiped out injured or dropped, on field two donuts (laird and bartel), time to stick the head under the blankets and let the carnage roll on........

If Wells is put on ice at some point for the rest of the year (don't think it will happen without an actual injury) you will at least be able to afford a decent replacement.

For all of you with trades left..
GAGFC
you know what the C stands for

Currently on 5 trades.

Trade 1. Barlow -> Zerrett (Assuming Barlow out for season)
Trade 2. One of Collins/Gresham/Brown -> Rookie to generate cash for rest of year.

Does anyone have their breakevens?

Still assuming Barlow is out and Lids, Bartel & Laird are all fine... S Collins looks like hes peaked with a BE of 81 according to Footywire...

Collins -> Markov through Brown DPP. Bank 213k.

Next week I'm hoping Gresham -> Simpson through one of my DPP Links. Would put me back to zero cash but I'd have Birchall as D7 and 2 trades left.

Yeah, don't have Dusty so he's the likely one in that scenario (got Zerrett, Wells, Zorko, Hall, Joey and Budwah)

I'd prefer a decent bench player somewhere though, was considering Suckling as a DEF/FWD swing with Hammelmann who I already have a few weeks ago, but with the injuries I've copped since I got in Hammelmann I don't think I'll do that so he's my F7/8 and Brand/Joyce are getting games currently so may get away with using them at D7 (would have to dump Brand to get Suckling). My Doggies injuries have been a concern too with being a previous Dahl/JJ/Adams owner and Williams is on my midfield pine with a sore knee currently but is a loopholer at the moment until he is fit again which should be in a week or two so he may get a game against Essendon or Freo in R22-23 if we rest Morris/Biggs/Boyd etc who have played just about every game so far

Naismith could be serviceable at F6 if an injury came even, but would need Trengove, Phillips etc to make more money in the next 2-3 weeks which probably won't happen, so using Naismith at R3 as Gawn/Stef insurance is my likely go with him

Cox and Trengove are my likely options for the chop though for the last 2 trades, but could go Brand instead too

Trading out Cox & Collins for Markov and a final premo mid, have $565,000 to spend on a mid and already have Danger, Pendles, Neale, Hannebery, Priddis, Gray, Shiel - Thoughts on the best available for that price?

JPK or Parker imo JPK because of consistency

A few tempting downgrade options this week.
Hammelmann, Naismith and Markov in particular. Whitecross if you are really brave/foolish.

Question for me with 4 trades left (only 8400 bank) is whether you take the opportunity while it's available, consider snapping up 2 of the above with a double downgrade, or, do I just make the one downgrade and then upgrade Petracca so I will be full premo?

Option 1
Collins -> Hammelmann
Petracca -> Montagna
2 trades and 43k left, full premo, Kerridge M/F cover

Option 2
Collins -> Hammelmann
Petracca -> Naismith/Markov
2 trades and 385k left, still have to upgrade F6 (Kerridge would likely have to go)

Heavily leaning towards Option 1 FWIW

Option 1 - Petracca > Montagna easily, Joey will have his down days but at least he is not in the same boat as Barlow and Deledio

Given that you are low on trades left I think you may as well keep Kerridge as he would be a very good F7/M9. The forward line trade in options that are now available don't look great

Carnage round. I now have 3 injured mid/fwds.

My original plan for this week to downgrade Menaspue to a cheapo MID/DEF and upgrade Collins to Simpson/Doc, like many before, has once again been shat on by the SC gods.

If Barlol is definitely out for the year I'll go:

Barlol > Zerrett no questions asked.

Trade no.2 I'm undecided

Will be
Deledio > either Buddy/Gunston/Boomer

I haven't ruled out bringing in Naismith for Cox or Menadue, will await teams

Git stuffed
