Carnage round. I now have 3 injured mid/fwds.

My original plan for this week to downgrade Menaspue to a cheapo MID/DEF and upgrade Collins to Simpson/Doc, like many before, has once again been shat on by the SC gods.

If Barlol is definitely out for the year I'll go:

Barlol > Zerrett no questions asked.

Trade no.2 I'm undecided

Will be
Deledio > either Buddy/Gunston/Boomer

I haven't ruled out bringing in Naismith for Cox or Menadue, will await teams

Maybe Hewitt to markvo move Phillips to the mids.
Upgrade menaspud to a 500€ forward Keridage can cover mids or forward.
Should be some good options at around 500k.

Might trade in Markov for Tucker this week, more so to boost my DPP advantage with Phillips being shifted to the mid than the 110K it will make.

If Deledio is dead i'll add a sprinkle of Zorko

Should leave me with 320K and 2 trades left for last upgrades and injuries. (probably Dahl and Simmo)

Just a warning to all those considering bringing Naismith in. Yes he has had a great couple of games but as the proud owner of Toby Nankervis who never scored under 70SC and got dropped after his 3rd game this same thing could happen to Naismith. I recall Horse saying he was going to rotate through the rookie ruckman while Tippett was out. Then again you never know... Horse may drop Sinclair and Nankervis and Naismith may both play??

Take a risk with Wells?
If fit, he won't be rested. NM desperately need him. No coincidence they have been losing with he and NDS either out or at less than their best.

Hey guys,

Looking for some expert advice with what to do with my team this week.

At the moment I have 7 trades and 56K in the bank and have to likely offload Deledio if the injury is long term.

Obviously Zerrett is in outstanding form and is a must have forward, but unfortunately I fall a few K short of Lids>Zerrett in one trade. Now I can get Zerrett for Lids by trading Petracca to Clay Smith, the only thing is Clay is one injury away from retirement but it is playing great at the moment with an average of 91.

My other option is trade Lids > Buddy and bank the cash to upgrade Kerridge > Dahlhaus when he returns from injury.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated

Leaves me with 4 trades, 100k and average bench cover of Brand, Clarke, Petracca, Silvagni.

Cox to Naismith is probably all I look at this week, but need to see teams first, only got two trades and 51k left, but the 150k I get from this downgrade hopefully turns some shit truck into Dahlhaus/another bottomed out type in a few weeks depending on injuries then I sit on it and hope I have enough depth to get me through the year. Bartel could be gettable perhaps too in a few weeks, he's already had his rest so I expect him to play every week and I have DPP links in midfield to utilise him in.

Carrying Wells is my only concern with guys like Phillips, Reid and Hammelmann as his only replacements, Clay Smith would've been nice cover but then my last trade would only be used for an injury/sideways only so I'm banking on Naismith as ruck cover here.

I wonder if North keeps Norfing their season then they look at putting Wells on ice?

This is me also. 2 trades left, one is Cox > Naismith (assuming he keeps playing) for fwd/ruck cover.

Unsure on final trade but it might be Tippa out, Howe fwd, Doc into def. Would give me Wells as F7/M9 (or M8 with Libba M9) and Collins providing def cover. Other option is to wait on Dahlhaus for Mathieson or Tippa.

Then just ride the bumps to the end.
