It will be good to see Prestia return and spray the crowd with footballs again. You'll also see first hand the great Tom Lynch... the one you overlooked for Conca!
:p

wrong thread, banter thread is further down

On topic...changes...

Houli is an in, but who goes out? CEllis is the obvious candidate having just come in and didn't do much, but I think Short will be, at least, considered. He was good earlier in the year, basically filling Vlastuin's role down back while the latter was playing midfield or injured, but now flossy is in the back line again, Short seems to be struggling for a role.

Bolton looked good in the 2s, and might come in for Soldo, but on the other hand, I think this is a good week to give Nank as much rest as possible, so I'd keep both and split the ruck duties close to 50/50 with the 'non ruck' spending a fair bit of time up forward. If the fitness staff say Rioli could use a rest, then that could be an option as well as this would be the week for it.

I was impressed with the way Soldo competed too & his hit out stats. Their Time on Ground was interesting Nank 65% Ivvy 30%. Might be worth experimenting with the rucks resting fwd and see if that generates any goals.

Ablett IN but not May

Source on the May not playing bit?

i saw a few gold coast supporters saying he should be coming in early on in their preview thread. but that would be massive if he misses!

Lol article on the AFL site. Interview with Touk Miller saying GCS need to shake the nice guys tag.

Of course this week is when they decide it's time to be more aggressive and physical.

Hardwick mentioned in his presser that their plans for 2 rucks/Soldo went out the window due to the rain and the game not being as mobile as they'd expected. Less work, meant less need to rest Nank, so Soldo was benched. I imagine the idea of playing him as a tall marking forward was also put aside due to the conditions.

Richmond just play like quarters 2,3,4 on the weekend and will win by 80 points its as simple as that, play like we did in the 1st quarter and we will lose..

We actually lost the 4th qtr as well...
