How is it that the crows have always found a way of recruiting punchable dumb campaigners ? Currently we have Tex who is now grooming another punchable campaigner in Flogarty. I mean over the years you had Ricciuto, Notso , Burton etc etc What’s with that shite ?

Keays & Crocker annoyed me greatly last night.

The club maketh the man.

What did Jack Gunston say again? Words to the effect of 'I didn't like the person I was becoming at the Crows'. It's clearly a place with a totally rank culture.

I called 119...

Still, the adjusted score differential would have been +90 (120% of 75).

You have to extrapolate after the first ten minutes once the crows were mostly done, and also factor in for superior fitness as well as “morale”. Probably closer to. +115.

From our 13 marks inside 50 I had it we kicked 5 goals 4 behinds. 2 others were passes that were then marked Ebo to Butters in the 2nd quarter and Robbie to Duurs in the last and they kicked 2 of the 4 pts. 2 marks, one by Robbie in the 2nd quarter from about 45m out and Mots in the last from about 40m out did not make the distance.

The 4 free kicks in our forward line, we kicked 4 goals. 2 thanks to 50m penalties paid to Ebo and Boak in the 2nd quarter that took the defender to the goal line. Charlie got a free in the 3rd 20m out bit of an angle and Hoff in the last 35m out and both
goaled.

And AFL Player Rankings

There's probably about 10 blokes out of the 22 they put out yesterday who are actually AFL standard, and aside from ROB the rest of them seem to have given up. Hard to blame them. If I played for a team which had lost to 3 of last year's bottom 4 and responded by bringing in Ben Crocker and Ben Keays, I'd probably give up too.
That's the difference between this current Crows team and Cinderella - at least Cinderella knew when to leave the ball.

A damning statement if ever I heard one.. of course they blamed Gunston instead of self reflecting.

6 intercept marks to Trent McKenzie. Nice.

"We don't like the person you're becoming either!"

Secondly, Dixon got his hands to a lot of marking contests. He’s clearly not got the stickiest hands but he presented really well and he will have better crumbing players at his feet this year than previous years. Was great to see him kick three on Talia in the end, who tends to be allowed to get away with assaulting him.

FTFY

What’s the bet Frampton comes out in a few years and talks about how terrible his time at West Lakes was compared to Alberton?
"I miss being in a club environment, as opposed to a plastic franchise."

You can add McHenry to the list of punchable campaigners

They should have played big Billy. At least he'd throw himself into the contest unlike the team they rolled out last night. They were soft as fu**

Gives away too many frees plus he’d probably punch on with Flogarty for pinching his mark.

I don't have a problem with niggle players like him.

I do have a problem with those that don't actually do anything else though.

At least earn it a little, even if that means getting punched in the face.

Things are going really well in Port Adelaide.

After a monstrous record setting 75-point win over rivals Adelaide in Saturday’s Showdown, much of the talk has been about how bad the Crows were.
But Port are flying high in the club’s 40th year. Just two rounds into the season, the side are on top of the ladder alongside North Melbourne and Essendon but with an incredible 290.6 percentage.
And Saturday night was a historic night for many other reasons.
The 150th anniversary season of the Port Adelaide club, the first game back after the historic season suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic and while wearing the club’s “prison bar” Guernsey design and welcoming almost 2000 fans through the turnstiles.
After such a crushing win, of course the team would want a nice picture of the boys.
But with things going well and boys being boys, you were never going to get all of them to co-operate.

Scott Lycett has brought back the Harry High-Pants

And from the above..
While there was plenty seemingly going on with the boys including a power stance and even a seemingly pantless star smack bang in the middle, one fan enjoyed the long-term joke from Lycett, commenting “Scotty you dope. that's going to be in the club forever” followed by laughing emojis

A Power Stance ... they just loved to get into the Crow players small minds ... loved it .. :) :) :) :)

See I think thats the biggest problem with the Crows stupid Power stance, the journalist has said thats what McKenzie is doing. Personally I think thats just McKenzie standing there in the awkward, "I don't know what to do with my hands for this photo" stance.

He's actually refreshing for them... they've never had that sort....

Previous coaches would have coached it outta him... they never get suspensions etc etc

I love that we do... I don't wanna be friendly.
