Ruthless performance. The Bars are sex. It looked like a clone army of Punishers out there causing havoc. Love it.

The Crows are a strong contender for the spoon. About time they served up a truly putrid football team with absolutely no heart and no hardness.

I always said that if Gold Coast improve a little bit then the spoon is Adelaide’s!

That was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful!

For years Adelaide has bullied us physically and tonight we finally did the same to them. I can't remember the last time we attacked a team as aggresively as that. Probably the last time we wore the prison bars actually. We just bullied them at the stoppages, bullied them around the ground and just gave them no space at all to work in.

Defensively that was perfect. Just obliterated them completely. How ****ing good was McKenzie! Nuts. Clurey after a shocking start was very good. Jonas very good. DBJ unpassable across half back. Hartlett excellent.

Our midfield just destroyed them. The Crouch brothers had 50 touches between them and had zero impact on the result at all. Nothing but fluff. Boak was great, Rocky clinical early, Motlop and Duursma on the wings just unbelievable. Amon classy. Lycett very good in the ruck.

Marshall. How good was that! 2 great, imposing performances in a row now. He's ready. Butters was a star.

We deserve this. **** the Crows.

Great atmosphere at the game despite only 2000 there. After the first 8 minutes you couldn't tell there were any Crow fans there at all. Was all Port.

Fogarty, you are a talentless fat hack. Hand in the 32.

PLAYER REVIEWS
Jonas - Solid as a rock down back. Walker did nothing, Fogarty did nothing. Good leadership and organisation of the defensive group.

Burton - Didn't have a whole lot to do. Didn't notice him really.

Dixon - We played into Talia's hands with Dixon in that we just sat it on his head time and time again and Talia did what he does well. We keep hearing how he's never been fitter. I want to see him move.

SPP - Just ran around barrelling into guys, which worked as he put some good pressure on. Didn't get a lot of the ball but the few touches he did have he was good with it.

Gray - Couldn't break free for any huge noticeable impact but I really liked what he did with a lot of clever little taps, knock ons, sneaky handballs etc. Had a good impact from those little things.

Marshall - Watching him take some imposing marks and having a real impact due to clever positioning and use of his body was so good to watch live. Thought he was nothing short of fantastic. He's improved a lot in that regard this year. Now has presence.

Bonner - Clever game tonight. Liked some of the little things he did in close and liked to take it on. Used the ball well. Good game.

Houston - A grower. No impact at all in the first half, but thought his second half was alright.

Amon - Really liked his game, when his confidence is high he is such a damaging player. Got in good position and used the ball exceptionally well all night.

Hartlett - Was great in that EF in the Prison Bars and thought he was the same in the Prison Bars again tonight. Strong defensively when he needed to be, composed with the ball, ran off and created. Excellent game.

McKenzie - A shoe in for the AA Full Back at this rate. Those hands! Such strong marking under pressure time and time again. A revelation in the first two rounds.

Westhoff - Loves a Showdown and tonight was no different. Strong in the air, good in front of goal. Had a real impact.

Rozee - Class. Thats all he is. Class. Gonna be a star midfielder.

DBJ - Looked and played like peak Fiacchi tonight. Was very good across half back, set up the play, nothing got past him.

Lycett - Good battle with ROB. Thought he had the better in actual ruck work and broke ever aroudn the ground. Our midfield destroyed there's and he was a major part of it

Clurey - Horrendous early but couldn't fault his game defensively.

Ebert - Watching him at the ground, his running has gone back to peak Brad circa 14-15. Ran his guts out and was damaging across half forward. For someone who I thought was very lucky to get a game in Round 1, his first two games have been excellent.

Boak - Was very good in the midfield. Not sure he was BOG. Maybe top 5. Bit of a lucky medal win but he deserves it.

Duursma - With that hair and the number 21 it was like watching Craig Bradley out there. So so so so good. 3 goals, ran hard, so damaging. They had no answer for him.

Motlop - Should have won the Showdown Medal for mine. Was the clear BOG. His best game for Port Adelaide. Huge amount of the ball, 2 goals, huge impact with his disposals and mark of the round to boot.

Rockliff - Very good in the first half. Set up the play perfectly from the midfield. Good start to the year.

Butters - **** he's good. Very good. That goal was magic. Everything else he did was magic. Defensively perfect. Tackles hard. Finds space, barely wastes a disposal. Clever with his kicks. Brings other players into it all the time. Cheeky. Love him.
