McKenzie is gonna get a chance to really prove it or not given our back stocks, I hope tonight is his constant level.

I thought he was solid.

Great team performance, but importantly given a few were down on their usual performance that was just an elite demolition. Thought Clurey and Jonas were quite poor and the backline looked fragile early, but sheesh we played so well as a collective through the middle and forward line that we didn't even need them doing much. For me I thought.

10 - Motlop
9 - Duursma
8 - Boak, Butters, DBJ, Marshall
7 - McKenzie, Bonner, HH, Rozee, Dixon, Westhoff
6 - Rockliff, Ebert, Lycett
5 - R Gray, Houston, Amon, Burton
4 - Clurey, SPP, Jonas

Just a totally ruthless destruction the likes of which we haven't been on the right end of in a Showdown probably ever.

The Crows were competitive for about the first 10 minutes of the game. After that, it was domination station. We beat them around the ball. We completely suffocated their ball movement. We made them look like witches hats as they chased us around the field hopelessly and helplessly.

So much to like.

Boak was outstanding and well deserved the medal.

Rozee, Butters and Duursma are amazing. It's not inconceibable that they end up as 3 of the best 5 players in their draft. They're just about the best 3 as it stands.

Motlop took the piss. Looked a class above with his ball control and the little twists and turns around the witches hats.

DBJ didn't put a foot wrong.

Amon continues to improve.

Lycett had a great game after a poor first quarter.

Westhoff was very useful up forward.

Rockliff and Powell-Pepper provided great midfield support for Boak.

Marshall looked dangerous all night. Kicked 2 and was robbed of a third after that mark that wasn't paid.

All played well though, couldn't fault the performance of any player tonight.

And they absolutely love him lol
Their board seems to think he is their only draft win over the last 5 years. Typical crows fans, love a bloke they can call a 'cult figure' as though that's some sort of replacement for culture
Just wait until he becomes a massive flog like danger or Tippett or Gunston or Betts

I'm less convinced about Houston on ball, looked a lot more at home when he moved to the backlines later in the game

If Burton is out injured I'm in favour of Wines in and Houston back to the backline. It's still his best position. And our need for good ball users in the middle isn't as pronounced as it was last year now that we've got Rozee and Butters running through.

Were the black armbands for the BLM or the club had somebody that passed away?
THE Port Adelaide Football Club is saddened by the passing of long-time legal advisor Mark Griffin QC.
Mr Griffin advised the club on tribunal matters as well as a number of other legal matters regarding staff and players.

Quick shoutout to Brad Ebert as well. Most of this board had him written off after a couple of poor practice matches, but he's come back averaging 17 touches and a goal over his first two games, more than handy numbers especially considering the shortened quarters. Playing his role and deserves his spot.
