Compare our power forward to every other power forward in the league. I'd count only 4 that are worse than our guy, and a couple of those are just making their way. The rest I'd do a swap in a heartbeat.

Do the exercise it's pretty illuminating.

Which "exercise" would this be?.

Who nominated Joe as our "power" forward anyway?

What is the definition of a "power" forward?

Who are the 4 worse one's?

And who are the 12 or 13 better ones?

While we're at it, who exactly are you swapping Joe for in this figurative heartbeat???

EDIT: Please don't say Charlie Dixon

I wanna be a fanboy......

Where do I sign?

Good win, a team building one. Adversity breeds success. We will keep building and have some really impressive displays of good footy this year I'm tipping.

A much better start to this season than we have had for many years.

We butchered a few chances early in the game as well. Whilst the bombers did have the clearance dominance, we got a few looks, but fumbled or dropped a few marks. Defensively we actually weren't bad. We stuffed around with the ball a bit too much which caused a few unforced turnovers. Mids got to work after quarter time, and we adjusted our ball movement. Really wasn't the dire state of affairs some are making out.

King, King, Larkey, McKay, Naughton, Wright, Lewis, Brown, Darling, Logan Mac.

in a heartbeat.

If you're going to post something so intentionally facetious, can you just pick one absurd player to add to the list please? I can't figure out who to make a joke about out of Larkey, Wright, Lewis, Brown, or McDonald.

Half of those guys aren’t even the best key forward on their team. I mean I like McDonald but surely the guy that’s just kicked 1000 goals gets a mention before him.

I get having King on the list but King? Come on mate.
Given the rest of the list, I'm pretty sure one of those Kings is David.

buddy and hawk are done but i'd even consider chol, balta, and the young bloke from adelaide. even that dickhead from richmond.

my point is in the power forward stakes we've got a guy that kicks 2 goals a game ......whoop de fricken dooo
One of our biggest strengths as a team is that we don't channel our scoring through one or two players, it's usually around 8 or 9 individual goal scorers that chip in when needed. Personally, I'm not fussed if Daniher isn't kicking big bags each game, although if he played the way he played against the power every week that would be nice.

2022 goals kicked Average: Joe Daniher - 3 goals per game.

😎

I'm not into comparing Daniher to anyone else. But what I will say is that he competes very strongly in the air when the ball comes in high which really helps our smalls running in. He's also very agile for his size and can get up the ground and provide similar support . His possession count is extraordinarily high for a full forward which reflects his role as part of the unit rather than a total focal point. And he takes a lot of marks.

Besides that he's just a dangerous player liable to do the unexpected who the opposition have to focus on every time the ball goes in and that gives everyone else a better chance.

I mean Daniher is only 4th in the Coleman ahead of players like: Buddy, Hawkins, Brown, Wright, McKay, Lynch, Naughton, King, Curnow. What a chump.

To be fair Larkey and Lewis are ahead of him. Not everyday Larkey gets to play against a WAFL team though
Joe probably would have had fun against the West Coast thirds.

Maybe even more than that superstar Larkey

Daniher to me seems to just like getting out there and playing footy. I don't think scoring goals is the highest priority.

No one could say he hasn't played very well in the 2 games so far this year.
