Ross and good user in the same paragraph??I honestly think a move to half back wouldn't be a bad idea for Ross. Sinclair and him could swap roles, gives us a bit more in the midfield but also gives us an experienced head and good user coming out of the backline.
Sound like somebody that never pays the drug dealer later.Ross and good user in the same paragraph??
Crazy they are wasting himPlease play Mitch in the middle
same every year - first couple games can be very misleading - however Lyon will need to find the solution to the midfield - time to give the job to Owen or Sinclair / Windhager etcWhy do I feel like the season is already over? Gotta get off BigFooty!
Miichan sounds a little bit girly to me.
Micchan みっちゃん or Michikun みちくん have a little bit more of a boyish feel I reckon.
I agree though, keep him away from the sticks if Higgins is in the team. Too much momentum death with 2 poor set shots for goal. It was a risky option, but I wish he'd found a way to get that set shot over to Collard who was all on his own. Even if it wasn't perfect, Collard would have found a way I reckon. Could have really lit us up.
WhyI don't think Owens or Pou are midfielders,
Crazy they are wasting him
They are finding the best way on how to flatten the skills of a highly talented kid , would they play Fyfe , Dangerfield as a ruck / they would not even think about it.Please don't send him to the Ruck
Every time I see it, it just reminds me of much we desperately need a big bodied mobile ruck/forward. Here's hoping Hayes body can stand up.
It's a team game, we need more than one bloke winning the game off his own boot. We had 44 inside 50s to 66 or something, and yet nearly still won and a huge part of that was Max who was probably our best forward.I said before R1 it was a big year for Max, needs to announce himself as the DP4 marquee power forward you can build a team around by winning us some games off his own boot. He blew chance number one against the Cats so here's hoping this is the week we beat the Pies and Max is the reason.
Time to earn ya pay pack Max and kick more goals than points and start improving that low footy IQ of yours.
Pou is a mid, but he last year was the youngest player in the League and played every game, he is still yet to grow into his body.I don't think Owens or Pou are midfielders, midfield is a different beast, and like last year, and the first game this season, it just shows we have yet to recruit class into the midfield, and I hope that at least Dow will boost us there, and maybe give Garcia a run. The current midfield is just one dimensional and will not get us deep into the finals.
Ridiculous and weak mindset.Prime time game, game that means something to the club and an opposition getting raked over the coals.
All set for a classic St Kilda loss.
Do you think we'll persist with Pou as a mid this week? I reckon that's one of the most fascinating aspects of the game. Will Ross throw him in against the likes of De Goey, Mitchell, Crisp etc? It could go quite pear-shaped, but could be the making of him.Pou is a mid, but he last year was the youngest player in the League and played every game, he is still yet to grow into his body.
Owens should be a pure chaos footballer, he can play mid, play KPF and play ruck and change games with his will, Dusty 2.0
We have been harping on about our midfield for years now and they are still rolling out the same.Pou is a mid, but he last year was the youngest player in the League and played every game, he is still yet to grow into his body.

2.4 and numourous dumb decision decisions was our best forward?...exhibit A your honour. It's a team game, we need more than one bloke winning the game off his own boot. We had 44 inside 50s to 66 or something, and yet nearly still won and a huge part of that was Max who was probably our best forward.
Ross threw Pou against them last year, hell Ross threw Pou against GWS last year in a Final.Do you think we'll persist with Pou as a mid this week? I reckon that's one of the most fascinating aspects of the game. Will Ross throw him in against the likes of De Goey, Mitchell, Crisp etc? It could go quite pear-shaped, but could be the making of him.

Caught the end of one of the data guys ( Hoyne?) talking on 1116 earlier this evening about Max’s game as one of the best he has played. The metres he covered, basically everything he did barring that last goal he fluffed.I said before R1 it was a big year for Max, needs to announce himself as the DP4 marquee power forward you can build a team around by winning us some games off his own boot. I cannot remember the exact time as I was in and out the car a couple of times but I think around 6.45 if anyone knows how to find it, or heard it. Would like to hear the whole segment. He was very bullish on the year Max is going to have. Apparently he was rated top 5 for the game according to their stats. Wasn’t all about him kicking goals.
Not sure if it was champion data or not.
