We've all experienced plenty of 'Whateley's' in our lives. Completely false people. In Gerrard's world it's all fair play, rainbows and participation trophies. He would find the public questioning of his lovely Geelong boy distasteful. It's perfectly ok to angle for a coaches sacking, or sink a player for personal issues, as long as you do it with a smile. Also, any acknowledgement that Ken has failed just plays too hard against his established narrative over the years.

lol that’s an absolutely atrocious structure. 1 KPD basically sums up our past list management failures for the last decade.

Also means we fk Bergman and force him to play tall again.

Richmond don't have any talls to play on..

It's basically just Armstrong with Lynch out

It's their smalls we need to worry about

Just hope that Moraes doesn’t bite off more than he chew and turn the ball over as much.

It looks like port are taking their time with Ratugolea or maybe they believe the tigers’ tall won’t pose a serious threat.

It’s about having a strong structure and having the players learn to play as a unit. Instead we have Aliir alone who then we also lose as an interceptor.

Not going to build a cohesive defensive structure like that.

I’ve been banging on about this for a decade and once again we have no KPD so who really cares.

Life needen't be that sombre dude. I felt like disassociating in 2011 because we sucked so bad but it's part of the process. I thank **** that we haven't been languishing at the bottom half of the table for 20 years. My life is somewhat boring. I go to work, I'm pretty much to myself, I go hiking solo regularly which I love, but the one thing that keeps me going is being able to jump on the train, grab something to eat and go watch a game of footy. If you're expecting perfection you're going to end up being heavily disappointed in life.

Onto the team, I haven't been following the pre season but could we bring in Moraes, possibly taking out Finlayson and playing another young defender. My logic is we're facing a team we should be able to beat at our best but we should also be taking out players who aren't performing and ensuring game time into the younger players.

Rutagalea, and Moraes, Another young defender, play Esava up forward because we need a big bodied target

OUT: Jones, Finlayson, poorest mid last week
I called it. Moraes debut is what we need. Constantly evolving the young players

I would much prefer to see him attack the game, yes turnovers will happen but we need someone who can break lines and we need to understand that it will come unstuck from time to time

On top of paying Hinkley to do nothing we would also have to increase Josh Carr's salary from Assistant to Head Coach and probably appoint another Assistant Coach to take Carr's spot. I have no idea what that would cost us but it would not be cheap and as stated that additional cost, on top of the GFC loss, would be substantial.

It would have been smarter not to have extended Hinkley's contract a couple of years back but that damage has been done.

If Hinkley is doing nothing, we don’t need to do anything but perhaps boost Josh’s wage for the year.

Though we also have no obligation to do that as he has been promised the job going forward.
