Why? He hasn’t played in a year. First game back last year was the only game he played
Because we are literally crying out for some goalkicking talent in our forward half. Unless we kick 16-7 or something like that tomorrow but sadly all evidence we have seen over the last few years suggests 11-16 is more likely.
We have seen bad kicking in nearly every game this round cost teams a win. Just look at Essendon there now.
Bad kicking is bad footy.

Bailey Rogers, Jye Bolton and Strom didn't play in any of there practice matches today? Coincidence or being wrapped in cotton wool?

Extremely poor forward line.

Sturt and Treacy are the future and should be lining up.

Getting a bit nervy about all this.

Yeah i'm not nearly as confident as many on here. The forwards look impotent and with Mundy/Fyfe out and an underdone Darcy coming in I don't think we're likely to get on top in the middle. There is a lot resting on the shoulders of AB and Serong.

Yeah I’m the same. Not confident at all which pisses me off after 6 years of rebuilding. It’s a shit st kilda at home. Should not even be a speed bump at this point.

People are overthinking this game and being slightly melodramatic. Meek v Treacy in the forwardline isn't actually that big of a difference. Josh Treacy ain't exactly Tony Lockett

No Mundy, no Fyfe, no Tabs. I think we may get a bit of a touch up around the midfield and god knows where the goals are going to come from. And then there’s big King at the other end..not confident.

If Hamling is in and Treacy is out... Cox fwd anyone?
With Treacy and Tabs injured, this scenario is defs an option, and maybe even likely when Coxy comes back from ISO. JLo needs more options than just Lobb, Meek & Darcy as forward targets. Amiss not yet ready. Coxy kicked a lazy 4 goals in one of the pre season scratchys. He can defs be used as a forward if Jlo so chooses, for sure.

Agreed. But if we all bring our 'A game', it should be enough to get us over the line. We still have enough talent on the field to get it done, IMO. It's the lapses and/or inaccuracy that will kill us off.

Do I seem nervous? Pfft.

We are going to debut NOD as the medical sub aren’t we?
Sometimes I really wonder if this club can ever read the room. You’d think they would learn from the backlash facing Essendon for having club legend Gavin wanganeen fly his family across from SA to watch his son sit on the pine all game yesterday. Several other examples too.

Don't blame the club's, blame the stupid system. Just get rid of subs. Four, five, six on the bench, who cares? Just don't have them, problem solved.

Very nervous... Need Acres to stick it one to his previous team - need 20+ good touches from him…

Aish to come back with clean touches and everyone to play to this weather.

Concerned about our midfield depth today, a good tag on Brayshaw and we are in trouble

Brodie needs to take it upon himself and step up today, just has to do what he has been doing but for 4 quarters.

Feels like a lot might be resting on Switta's shoulders today. Aish is coming in to replace Henry on a wing. Colyer is back filling Switta going into the midfield (or at least a lot more than he did last week) imo.

Reckon we go in as slight favourites despite our outs. Seems a bit of a lose-lose game in the media unless we smash them. Lose and we will be crucified. Win by anything but a decent amount and we'll be described as just getting over the top of a bottom 4 team. Winning this game will be helpful in making finals but it is still far from make or break so early in the season.
