He got 14 disposals in a game where we got smashed, he gathered 20 and 19 disposals in the 2 Nab games he played not to mention he averaged over 20 disposals per game in the VFL last year. I'd put money on it that excluding Sub games he will average 17-20 disposals a game by years end.

At 60 Supercoach points per game max ...

96 points in Round 2, there goes the 60 max average. :)

2143 ranked 7070

Heroes : Swallow, Hanley, McVeigh, Pendles, Libba and GAZ.

Villians : Me for not leaving McDonald on field (96). Ryder, never was happy with his selection. Wright and Danger.

Went backwards in the rankings. :(

This is my team with Mitchell-Jaensch and Crouch-Mayes
Good looking team.

Personally I'd look at keeping Mitchell, although depends how long he is out. If only one-two weeks, use bench cover. Mitchell will easily be in the top 6 defenders by years end, Guthrie won't be. If you take Mitchell out, you're only going to have to bring him back in down the track. How about Guthrie to Jaensch if you're that keen on him??

Not convinced on Mayes. Again, won't be top 10 at years end and won't generate as much cash for you as say, Tyson will, at 160k cheaper.

Maybe i should do Mitchell-Jaesch and Crouch-Thomas or Tyson and next week i upgrade Guthrie-premium under 470k?

Completely up to you. Like I said, unless Mitchell is out long term (ie out for Round 4 or beyond), there's no way I'd trade him this weekend. I'd go Guthrie to Jaensch.

Having said that, I'm probably being a little hypocritical because I moved him on last week, but I wanted to get Swallow in as I didn't back myself and left him out of my original team. I fully expect to have to trade Mitchell back in, so it will end up costing me at least two trades.

Well when Mitchell's injury significance is released, I will see if i should trade him.

Yep, absolutely.

You could also consider Vince or McCrae to Jaensch via Langdon's DPP and make yourself 100-130k profit for the bank?? Food for thought at least, you'd think Jaensch will net you more than those two will.

I'm in 5 leagues and the worst league ranking is 3772 out of 24,598

It's going to be a tough tough year..

In my 5 leagues the lowest ranked is 1318. Only two in the top 200 though. Can easily see myself not recouping any of my cash this year.

^^ lol. This.

3 of my leagues are in the top 1200. The other two are just outside and both are being bought down by one person in each. In the league ranked 3772, there's only one person who scored < 2000 this week and his score was 1153 or something :(

Total: 2081, throws my rank out to 12,152... not favourable but not impossibly out of touch... Much thinking to do this week...

Bad move I reckon if Mitchell comes back this week.

Like you said 2 trades blown to get him back in later on.

You should have just waited to see the extent of Mitchells injury this week then if out for a few trade him out for Swallow. :rainbow:

Interesting start to the year for me. Last week was very very good for me, this week was an aberration, my team just needs to get the fundamentals right, structurally we were good but you ain't going to get big 100+ scores if you can't find the ball. So I'll go back and review it and get the players to get the basics right first of all and rest should take care of itself.

F$&K off Brad Scott stop mind controlling me.

I feel like St Vincent De David. Just donating cash everywhere

Reminds me of this forkie I used to know. He'd pay $12,000 every year for his kids Private School tuition despite their constant miserable grades. Then also pay a $3,000 donation to the school on top of that because the donation was tax deductible. I always wondered if he was the full quid until he mentioned that.....

Well if he is out for a few then it was a good move since he most likely had Swallow's score instead of the trash the Lang's served up.

My personal opinion is that Swallow will outscore Mitchell this year. Therefore no hesitation. How the hell I let myself get talked out of going with him to start with is beyond me :(

Besides, without Swallows input last weekend I would have been stuck with a very ordinary score of 2170  ;)

That's was a point ;) Very tounge-in-cheek tho :D

In all seriousness, trading Swallow in for Mitchell made a massive difference. Of my 5 leagues (2 of them Tragics), only 1 person out of 85 beat my score (Argus Tuffed) and I jumped from rank 37k to 4k. A worthwhile return IMO.
