Not even rage changes. Just straight up smart changes that are good for the immediate and the future. Time to prioritise foot skills and mobility.

Hopefully our backline has better matchups against Adelaide. Without seeing them play I feel we should do. A fair run from the maggots at a home game with a decent crowd and our season will be back on track

I don’t think we were as bad as many are suggesting against the Hawks - they are the flag favourites and we matched them for 3 quarters. Against the Crows we can get our season back on track. Defence must lift but a few players back there are just getting used to playing together - at least that's what I'm hoping..!! The bonus with the Langford injury is that the Messiah Edwards will play! I’ve gone like for like changes;-

OUT: Ridley, Langford
IN: Hayes, Messiah

Team:;-

Hayes McKay McGrath
Redman Reid Roberts
Jones Perkins Duursma
Martin Messiah Merrett
Caddy Draper Kako

Bryan Durham Caldwell

Bench: Tsatas Shiel Prior Gresham
SUB: Hobbs

I doubt Scott has the balls but Laverde for Prior seems an obvious swap since Laverde will at least but his body on the line and we need the experience with Ridley out.
Injured

Let’s see how much Brad has evolved.

Realistically the best options to replace Ridley and Langford are debutants (Hayes/El-Hawli and Edwards). Let’s see if he goes down that path or if we see Menzie and Setterfield.

Realistically this year or even this week..you'd hope Shiel and Prior are phased out by Clarke, Saad or Johnson, Hobbs has to go, happy to bridge the gap with Setters until an option presents, he's got a better base level.

Clearly missed stringer last night, (I didn't think we would) fwd line going to be an issue all year unless we can get creative with it.

Can't believe they played reid on chol and left mckay free, surely it's the other way around?
