He got frostbite in the 3rd which didn’t help.

Freo don't exactly have a shit midfield. Sure Brayshaw/Cerra/Serong are kids but Fyfe and Mundy are still there and more than capable of taking stoppage ball away from Cripps while the kids gently jog away from him.
I'm a Bagger and I've been concerned with how he's looked, excluding the SC POV. Spending a lot of time forward, looks very very slow (he's never been quick but this is different) and he has actually played very well against both the Tiges and Pies midfields in the not too distant past. He seems too interested in wresting rather than using his frame to create space for himself to take possession and the less said about his second efforts in the first fortnight the better. Walsh is the Blues mid to own

Hurt by a couple of poor turnovers under no pressure late in 3 out of 4 quarters. Probably a bit of fatigue but getting to the right spots. He'll come good I think
51 hit outs, must've had ~20 HTA. Dominated ruck, was pretty sloppy with ball in hand.

Doch really unlucky to get only 85, looked good though, the 100's will come.
Grundy back is good, not sure I can take the VC, got Downie on my bench and either he plays or is the sub. Maxy will go bigger anyway.
