Yeah I actually don't mind it - even don't mind Bruce when he is fawning over the crows in their games. Because at least he is even handed in calling the game if the crows are losing. Similar was Cometti who never hid that he was an Eagles fan but his commenting was very even handed.Going back to the commentary thing and the criticisms of Sunday's coverage... After watching a lot of hockey, basketball and baseball over the past 7 years, I find the concept of wanting commentators to be unbiased pretty intriguing. While I can understand there just isn't the numbers to justify separate telecasts and commentary for each match here in Australia, commentators getting excited about their team doing well doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Contrast to ricciuto who snipes at the opposition and whinges about umpiring when the crows are losing while he is commentating. Healy also did this during the swans game, constantly calling back to umpiring decisions after the play had moved on, even when some vision showed his whinging to be inaccurate.
