How could you not challenge those ridiculous suspensions? Borderline tanking. I guess we just keep in Darling and Cripps, bring in Sheed and Gaff for games and play 3 ruckman. Edwards and Trew have rest.

Out: Petch, Hutch, Ledwards, Trew [forced changes only]
In: Gaff, Sheed, Witherden, Flynn

****ing gross.

Yep
Because Petruccelle and Hutchinson are going to make us so much better.

We're terrible.
We don't need to tank.

We have a reserves team. The players who are finishing up this year can have the fairwell in the reserves. Invite everyone down to the final wafl eagles game, have a bbq and be done with it.

If we didn't have a reserves team then ok, give them a fairwell game in league side. Enough of this nonsense fairy stuff. Time for big boy pants and clean up the club. Bring back the original song, get some pride back in WA

Petch and Hutch suspensions both accepted without challenge. Weak as p155.
Incredibly weak from the club.

Had it been Reid and Kelly, they would have challenged. What message does that send to the fringe players? Not a way to make them feel valued, that's for sure.

Im a bit concerned our sustained losing will become generational like the saints, norf, dees, essendon & carlton.

players will forget what a winning culture is once yeo, gov etc retire.

we can see at essendon, year on year they are in top 8 contention, then the arse falls out the end at the back end of the season. its the weight of expecation after years of not playing/winning finals.

Have you considered growing a sack? 😘

Essendon's issues are their president, Sheedy & Dodoro being in cahoots with each other and none of them being prepared to fall on their sword and let someone competent run the club.

Long may it continue.

So its LEdwards, Hutch and Petch guaranteed outs. 3 wing/hff types

I expect Darling to hold his spot now, same with Culley.

Gaff or Sheed a chance for a game.

If theres any retirements with farewell games coming this week id imagine theyd announce it tomorrow?
If I remember right they announced Shuey/Hurn/Nicnat on tuesdays last year

4 games left, I want to see the young blokes getting a run for the rest of the year.
In: Archer Reid, Dewar (3 weeks too late ffs), Sheed
Out: petch, hutch, darling

It's also incredibly poor leadership from the club. Imagine letting a suspension like that against Hutch go unchallenged and become the precedent for future incidents.

This would be the case. If the AFL used sensible, well tested, well understood things like "precedent". Instead the "whatever the vibe is this week" strategy means whatever happens this week actually has little to no relevance to what's going to happen next week, so probably nothing to get yourself too worked up over...

FWIW Schofield indicated on Channel 7 News tonight that Trew should be right for selection along with Gov. Also confirmed the LEdwards concussion.
2nd or 3rd concussion for LEdwards this year? Got one in the WAFL and did he get one earlier in the year?

In- Gov, Duggan, Gaff, Dewar, Flynn, Hall (Sheed*)
Out- Hutch, LEdwards, Rotham, Petch, Darling, (Trew*) B Williams

Cripps - Allen - Waterman
Ryan - J Williams - Dewar
Cole - Yeo - Maric
Ginbey - Gov - Hunt
Hough - H Edwards (King) - TB
Flynn- Reid - Kelly
Duggan (4 mid) - Trew/Sheed (5 mid) - Hall - Gaff
Culley (Sub) and to back up the neck day if he plays less than a half.

50 games up for Houghy this weekend. What a gun. For all the 'we can't develop yoof' chat, I would say that's probably more isolated to the midfield.

Plays like a 150 gamer, taking down some of the best small forwards. Has filled the Shepp void with aplomb.

What a long way he’s come in just 50 games 😍
